Chewitt chewed it....could not serve it out in 5th.... but that has been his signature game for ....what?...8 years...interesting player he is...interesting career...good that we won't see him around anymore...

It was a pathetic days for dogs again....not so bad as yesterday, but good thing with this strategy is that it just takes one dog to win and you are safe. I don't know what happened to Sock, and certainly it looked like he will win this one...

anyway round 3 is coming up and Day 5 picks will be posted soon.

              Day 5

              Cilic - Kukushkin

You almost can't resist of putting money on Kukushkin. Yes, he had that tough match against lousy Dimitrov, and Cilic had a fairly easy route
so far, but Cilic is not playing great tennis and if (it's a very big if) Kukushkin can put the same level of effort he can win.

              Paire - Robredo

If i had to pick a winner I would reluctantly say Paire...Robredo can smoke him though so skipping this.

              Tsonga - Stakshit

A very untrusty server-and-volley guy vs player who usually takes care of business when playing
against lower level. hmm...I just can't find any reason why Tsonga would loose this one.

              Bautista - Goffin

David struggled in second round for some reason, so yes, Agut might pull this one... He himself has not been
great but this will be a dog fight and if it goes the distance I would say Agut has more chances.

              Chardy - Ferrer

Bet against Ferrer, even if h2h suggests otherwise, bet against ferrer.

              Djoko - Seppi

It was the 3rd round this year in Aus Open when Seppi beat Federer. Odds were pretty much the same, no one expected that. can it happen again against Djokovic? Why not?

              Raon - Lopez

It's a tricky matchup for Raonic, even if Lopez has not played that well so far he can at some point have one of
those matches. Raonic will play as Raonic so it's up to Lopez. odds are good enogh to take Lopez.

              Fognini - Nadal

A real cracker this one. If Nadal was not so bad against Schwartzman I wouldn't even look at this but Fognini looks
to be focused enough and their relation with Nadal gives a chance that he will not give this (to Nadal) with ease.

              Ok so wrapping it up

              Kukushkin @ 4.5 vs Cilic
              Agut @ 2.5 vs Goffin
              Chardy @ 2.5 vs Ferrer
              Seppi @ 25 vs Djoko
              Lopez @ 2.56 vs Raonic

and if we made some money till this point then bonuss pick is:

              Fognini @ 4.22 vs Nadal

So after Kukushkin's failure I was not that convinced of these choices, but hey, it was quite good in the end. So let's have a look what Saturday will offer us.

                  Day 6

                  Berdick vs GGL

Well, lucky bastard Berdick gets another easy player, although h2h is somehow in favour of GGL he's still in quite a bad form and Birdshit should take care of him in straight sets.

                  Tomic vs Gasquet

If Tomic didn't have those 5 sets to be played against old grandpa, I would pick him out here especially now that Gasquet's brilliant form is slowly but noticably fading. But French boy will scrap this out.

                  Isner vs Vesely

                  Good bye Vesel

                  Federer vs no one cares...

                  Troicki vs Young

Im picking Young here as small dog, he has performed well in 2 rounds, and Troicki just had couple of no-names so Young deserves to see 4th round.

                  Anderson vs Thiem

So this is my bet of the day again against big Kev. I just really don't like him and his game. This will now be a real test for him as Thiem as been in this position last year, where he did reach 4th round so he'll be up to task. Odds are perfect.

                  Wawa vs Bembelbam

If Stan manages to get past first couple of rounds he just gets stronger so at this stage it will be very very tough for young Beligain to get through. ad

                  Bellucci vs Murray

Well, Andy seems to be not in good shape. Bellucci will be again quite a test for him so expect some 4 sets at least and if Brazilian gets some luck I think he can pull this one out.

                  Concussion:

                  D. Young @ 2 vs Troicki
                  Thiem @ 3.2 vs Anderson
                  Bellucci @ 10 vs Murray

                  Still in consideration:

                  Tomic and maybe Bembel man.....

I really like Kev anderson today. Dom hasn't been in great form, losing to klizan and gulbis in the 1000 tourneys.. first round was a walkover for him then he beat the underwhelming istomin... I think Kev wins handily today.

it does look like dog days are over...

still today i think we can have couple of surprises...

                      Day 7

                      Cilic - Chardy

So was Cilic that bad that he needed 5 sets to overcome Kukushkin. I saw the whole match and Kuku was playing great so Cilic was not bad. Then again I think Chard has a chance here as he was playing good tennis in first rounds and is quite fresh unlike Kukushkin.
                      So Chardy it is

                      Paire - Tsonga

This is Paire's best slam ever, but unluckly he has to play against solid Tsonga. Odds are tempting to say the least, but it will tough for Paire.

                      Lopez - Fognini

Nadal slayer should fall here unless Lopez is playing really bad here. I haven't really seen his game so far. Any input? how did he perform against Raonic?

                      Djokovic - Agut

They shouldn't even play this one. Just shake it and go home Agut.

                      Conclusion:

                      Chardy @ 2.6 vs Cilic
                      Paire @ 3.45 vs Tsonga
                      Fognini @ 2.2 vs Lopez (???)

I think the line says it all for the Flopez/Fog match. Lopez wins. No head to head, everyone hyped up over fog beating rafa, see fog at good pickem odds. You would think he could be the short fav in this situation, but he's not. I think lopez wins handily today... too good at holding serve and fog will get frustrated

Love Paire today though. on ML and big on +5 games
