I see. I thought it was a bankroll issue, in which case you should simply lower your stake to win the same amount as usual.

just as i suspected the odds for flipkens to win has been increased . it is now -105. now line movement doesnt mean much in tennis , but dont be surprised if flipkens is the fav come match time. venus hass not played since the french open. flipkens went to the semis in wimbledon. these are hard courts , a new surface for both for quite some time but the 34 year old venus , as illustrious career as she had, is winding down. im adding another 0.5 unit to this one even though its at -105 now.

I'm on Flipkens as well. If you take a look at Williams previous matches, her fitness is questionable. She's been huffing and puffing out of shape after just a set. Flipkens knows how to win tough three set matches.

Going to be a battle for sure. I got Venus on a 4 team parlay, but due to this thread just put a unit on Flipkens to win. Venus is getting a bit long in the tooth and looking at Flipkens picture scared me. Then on rank, Flipkens is higher.

Venus reminds me of Tiger Woods. They both either roll through an event and show they mean business. Or they look like they don't want to be there.. rather just making an appearance obligation. Obviously is going to be tough coin flip.. I just feel Venus being eliminated so early last tourney won't happen again in the Round of 128

Don't forget guys, Kvitova has a very similar power game as Venus Williams and Flipkens found a way to beat her in three sets twice already this year. Taller power hitters will eventually get frustrated with Flipken's low slicing style because they can't develop rhythm into their shots, resulting into a lot of errors into the net.

Venus is starting to look a bit tired now. Let's see if that fitness comes into play. Third set here we go.

was a nice win. i am not known much in the tennis forum. i usually peruse dont post much. was a nutty match for sure as are most WTA matches. i actually put another unit on flipkens right before the match. so i had 3 units on her. as MDF said she knows how to win tough three set matches (e.g against kvitova) but my main issue with venus was she has not played a WTA match since the end of may.

she was once one of the best but personally at the age of 34 i think she needs to hang it up now.
always liked her game though. the grass queen.

those that tailed me congrats . i dont often post my plays but i will try to do so once a week. more during the grand slams of course. gonna put 0.5 unit on wickmayer +6 at -105. i think she covers easily.

Job well done. When I left work last night (venus just got 6-0, set 1), I really thought she couldn't possible lose. Before I went into store, checked the iPhone and seen flipkens was putting up a tad bit of fight in 2nd set but still thought Venus had it under control. Got home, turned it on the net, figuring Venus would have already finished her off. Only had 1 game to go, and was shocked at the difference Venus looked at work vs at home. She was beat in more ways then one, just like you called it. You saved me a unit of money. Thanks.
