#2208Yes suh, third time was a charm. Now the big question ... can he win that last set he needs? As long as he maintains his focus, the handicap should sit well even if this slips to a 5th set. Rooting for him though, if for nothing else than spite on Berdy fukking up that Kudla under last week. Don't mind Stan either and seeing a different person in the QFs is always cool.Comment -

If Stan brings that serve and backhand to his match with Murray, we could be in for a classic. Still think Murray gets through, but I hope Wawrinka can play at his highest level to make it a real battle.Comment -

Could have been a great day if Hewitt could have closed, but hey at least some positive gains. Will probably tempt fate and post some WTA plays down the stretch. Have been playing some off-the-board and I feel a little more comfortable as the tournament goes with those.Comment -

#2221Not necessarily. It is hard to call though. The odds are tricky because surely Vinci should be more of a favorite, yet Pennetta played the best she has in years against Halep.Originally posted by EaglesPhan36I never thought for a minute about that match. My prediction: Pennetta surprises a sleeping Vinci to run away with the first set, with Vinci waking up to take a tight 2:nd, eventually tiring Pennetta for the win two sets to one.Comment -

#2231i'll put my balls in that same nadal-operated vise with ya' EP...i tend to hate tennis unders but if it involves an elite player like Nadal who lives & breathes slam-notches to his legacy...and who plays with a killer instinct because of it...the under ticket is easier to carryComment -

#2233I didn't understand why this number was so high honestly. I was expecting something like 27, 28 tops. Apparently the books put a bit of stock in the Federer win for Robredo or expected that the public would. It was fairly obvious in that match that Federer was playing terrible tennis. Robredo took advantage, but all those break points were going to come back to haunt him against someone like Nadal.
I'll be checking the price on Nadal to win the whole she-bang tomorrow and might invest some more on him.Comment -
