The thing is the country can unite at times, such as during the Olympics, but deep down nobody really likes each other. GB soccer team has already announced they have no intention of fielding a team in 2016 for the Olympics, just did it for the ones at home.

It's a unique case because for events like soccer Scotland has their national team as does England and same with rugby but in the Olympics or here they fall under GBR.

Of course a lot of British people still support Andy. I do myself and feel no reason to justify it. But I can understand why some people can't bring themselves to.

When I go attend games in any sport involving a team or player I support, I'm going there to support them, not enjoy the game. Fairplay and all that shit goes out the window.
