Hey everyone, so firstly I can assure you all that I have done my fair share of research on TopBet (unfortunately after the fact). However it seems that little RECENT information has been posted about them in these forums and a lot has changed for them, so I was hoping to get some updated information.
Anyways it all started with me depositing $250 to bet on the Broncos game today (was gonna put money on the broncos). Unfortunately by the time I got the deposit to go through (lots of issues with my card, had to call my bank and top bet twice each), the game had already started and I couldn't bet.
So of course my gambling spirit found me on the blackjack table. I was just messing around playing $1 per hand, and winning very frequently. I started uping my bets to $2 a hand and next thing I know I'm up to $500. So being happy doubling my money I decide to call up TopBet, when I finally get through I ask to withdrawl $250 (leaving $250 in there). They tell me that because I used a 100% deposit bonus code I must wager 25 TIMES MY DEPOSIT + BONUS, aka $500 x 25 = $12,500!!
At this point I think the site is a scam so I say "**** it", and start betting $25 a hand knowing that I'm probably never getting paid anyways, and I'll probably have to report them as fraudulent. However before I know it I was up to $1500, and I had wagered over the required $12,500! So holding back my excitement (since I doubt I'll get paid) I call them again and ask about withdrawing. I assumed they would give me some other paramter, like no same day withdrawls or some other bs, but to my surprise they didn't and just wanted my CC and id emailed to them, which I know from bodog is somewhat standard for these sites.
So I'm now curiously waiting to see if I actually just made $1250 or if I'm going to be out $250. A lot of people on these forums have said they are scammers and have a bad track record which I see is definitly true, but it also seems some have had no issues with them. I also see their grade on SBR has increased from a F- to C-. I also didn't see specific evidence of people just flat out not getting their payouts, but instead only evidence of people saying their games are statistically inaccurate and they have ridiculous rules (which is true).
However my question is, since I've already won the money does anyone think they will just flat out not pay me? It seems like if they were that blatant of thiefs that their site would have to have been taken down at this point. I know google removes such sites pretty well, and they are a top ranked google site.
Anyways I'm hoping for the best, but expecting the worst!
Opinions very welcomed!
P.S. I will post any updates I hear from them as they come to me!
