I also need the payouts to pay my CC bills. I was thinking of just telling them the truth. I sent mney to an online casino, I won and now they won't pay me.

It's quite possible that now that it is illegal for banks to knowingly send funds to offshore gambling sites, that we may not even have to justify the charge back. Perhaps all we have to do is point out that the charges were for gambling, and the CC will have to cancel them.

The reality is, if enough people do charge back, Jazette might lose thier CC proccessors, and that would pretty much be the end of the book

I think it would be hard to go to the cc and you would have to say that the money was never credited to you.

The good thing is, a lot of us are at the beginning of when this started so we should be first to get our checks sent out.

I just talked to a rep that said wire is up and running, any thoughts?

the rep I just spoke to said no bank wires yet. Hopefully sometiem this week. But it will still take 1-2 business days for them to process, and then another 3-5 business days until you get the money.

Not suprisingly, Jazette really dropped the ball. They've never cared about cs, and now it may come to a head. I almost wnat to do a ********** out of spite at this point.

There are a few reasons wrong with charge backs... I would only use that as a last resort... A good point was made tht a charge back may get you bliacklisted not to mention that or other charge cards you have may block certain types of transactions causing yo a bigger hassle.. I have learned one thing..being impaitient and hasty usually means bigger headaches along the way... Lastly we want these books around so we can bet so an over reacton may cause these books to slow down more or go under...

I agree with everything you are saying. But I think the way sportsbook.com is handling the situation is creating a lot of ill will. And you have to understand also, that because sportsbook.com and family are abel to take ************. Many of us, deposit far more then we could afford. But we do so, becuase we've always been able to withdraw our money in time to pay our bills. And now our bills are due, we haven't been able to get our money for 3 weeks, and there is no timefram now as to when payouts will be processed. It's getting kind of scary.

What is crazy, is that Jazette management isn't taking the CS aspect of this seriously. How many people have to do a ********** before Jazette loses thier credit card porcessors. You would think, that management would be sendindg out letters of apology, trying to explain the situation. Instead they don't seems to give a damn. It doens't make a differecne whether you are owed $50 or $50,000, no one is going to try to help you. No one is going to make any promises to you, or even speak t you.

So i this mess spirals out of control, and sportsbook.com goes out of business as a result, Jazette would have only themselves to blame.

I had a similar problem with Bodog and just got paid on 1 of my 2 withdrawls after waiting for over a month and getting an endless runaround from customer service.

I had honestly lost faith I would ever see anything, but they did step up (finally) and pay and it sounds like SB is large enough where they will likely do the same.

I know that doesn't help you sleep better, but I certainly hope you get your payouts soon....please let us know how it turns out, I am trying to gauge the current online payout thing.

Why hasnt anyone from SBR helped out and found out information from managemnet who we do not have any access to.

I know they rate them poorly, but alot of us use more than one book, and didnt know about the rating until we got here. It has been long enough where i hoped they would have some help for us.

    jstblaze,

This isn't aproblem of nto having the money to pay. The problem is finding a processor. That is a problem that all the sportsbooks ahd to deal with. And it seems like whatever processor, they hoped to have in plce, either fell through, or they are still negotiating with.

In any event, when your primary and now only mechanism for dpeosit is credit card, and then you shut off withdrawals, for whatever reason, you have a recipe for disaster.

Wouldn't it be a better idea to reverse the money and then request a withdrawal via wire?

Sportsbook.com used to be so convenient, now this.

According to the cs clerks I spoke to, they aren't yet able to do bank wires. SO the risk you hvae is if you cancel your check to do a wire, and they don't get the bank wires up and running, and you decided to go back to a check, then you will have gone from the front of the line, to the back of the line. By now, they probably do have a very significant backlog.

It would be nice if they would contact the players who are waiitng on significant amounts of money, and offer to expedite our payments by wire. But they aren't doing that, and they won't.

In thier minds, as long as they have thier clerks say "sorry for the inconvience" at the end of every conversation, they are off the hook.

    I am pathetic

I honestly feel i could have made this much money working at McDonalds for all the time I have spent talking to CS. I run home from school to read this forum / check my e-mail and harass customer support. DO I HAVE A PROBLEM?

    Here is the latest:

You: when should i expect the check
Colin Benson: The latest update we have received on this issue is that all withdrawals for all customers should be sent by 03/16/07.

Yea Bro, you are telling me that magically sportsbook.com is going to make 100,000+ checks appear in everyones stockings.

Is it possible to fly down there, is anyone else down?

Sportsbook.com Has Everybody On This Forum Grabbing Their Ankles. Common Sense Will Tell You That Their Recent wire Offering Is Just Another Elaborate Stall Tactic. Your V-chips Are Literally Virtual These Days Because You'll Never See Them. This Company Left Everybody Holding The Bag And There Is Absolutely No Recourse At The Moment. Those $9.00 An Hour Cs Reps Can't Move Mountains For Any Of You. They'll Just Keep Feeding You The "10-12 Business Days Due To A New Processor B.s." And Try To Restore Your Confidence With A wire Option That Does Not Even Remotely Work At The Moment. For All The Suckers That Are Going To Redirect Their Pending Fedex Withdrawls To This Fantasy wire Option, Please Save Me A Spot In The Back Of The Line And Let Me Know How You're Living. I've Got Around 9k
In Pendings With This Degenerate Driven Company And I've Pretty Much Accepted The Fact That They Put My Money To Sleep Until That Magical Processor Comes By To Save The Universe.

I just finished another jerk-off session with a cs manager. I thought I've heard it all until he suggested that I redirect my pending Fedex's back to my players account because he feels that Dallas is going to cover tonight in Golden State!!! These cs idiots never seize to amaze me. Are their phone calls really monitored???

I second the question of why anyone at SBR (Bill or whoever else) isn't saying or doing anything about this - this is a huge sportsbook and Jazette owns a whole bunch of others -- WHAT THE F... is going on?!

Just did a chat right now -- Same canned cut and paste responses from CS - no official timeframe, still in process, unacceptable delay, should be resolved soon.

Nobody at SBR isn't going to a freakin thing about this nightmare. Why would they have a vested interest in cleaning up this mess??? They gave Sportsbook.com a horrible D- rating!!! For all we know, the staff at SBR is laughing their asses off, feeling like geniuses, yelling the infamous "i hate to say i told you so" to every schmuk who got clipped by Sportsbook.com

For all you guys that have been patiently waiting for that FedEx truck to pull up in front of your house; Lets face it, Santa Claus has a better chance of pulling up!!!

My daddy always told me, "a fool and his money were one big party!"

It makes me wonder, do you think those CSR jerk-offs are eating chicken wings and drinking beer while fielding our calls??? I think we just financed one of the biggest parties on the planet.

How is it possible that they have not even begun to start sending the delayed withdrawals out yet?

It is now 3 weeks from the day the delay started, and they have not managed to even begin proccessing the first withdrawals that were delayed. I dont get that. They have found a new proccessor, so why do they then not start processing and sending the first delayed withdrawals right away.

I am really starting to think about exploring the option of talking to my credit card company about cancelling those transactions. I ended up only winning a little bit of money over what I deposited, but at this point, i'm willing to just take back my original deposits (from my cc) and forgetting about my winnings. I wish this happened to me when I deposited less, but oh well. I guess this is a warning to all of us to stop using online sportsbooks. Honestly, with all the crackdowns by the u.s. government, you never know when a sportsbook might just close up shop one day.

My buddy just got a DUi and when he was being screaned before his initial hearing he said they asked him more about if he was an addicted gambler then about his alcohol related driving incident... He said she asked me the same question spottingly throughout the whole sceaning and it had nothing to do with what I was there for... He said she asked about drinking and driving but she kept going back to if he may have a problem gambling.. She asked.. Do you play poker online..? Do you gamble on sports..? Did you bet the Super Bowl..? Do you go to the Casinos..? etc. etc. Finally he said LOOK MAN I TRIED TELLING YOU THE FIRST THREE TIMES YOU ASKED I DONT GAMBLE IN ANYWAY SHAPE OR FORM NOW STOP ASKING!!

I don't agree with the charge back unless it's your last resort which in this case IT"S NOT!!! By going that route you can expose yourself to bigger problems in the future.. You'll really feel salty if you create a bigger delay and see everyone else who waited start to get paid... Keep that in mind and keep this in mind... IT"S CONFIRMED by MANY that not only this book but several others are having processor problems.. This does not mean THEY ARE BROKE.. THEY ARE CLOSING SHOP or that THEY ARE LAUGHING AND DRINKING BEER... This is all fear based responses... If your reaction would improve their quality of service then I'm all for it BUT let's face it THE NEW PROCESSOR IS WHAT WILL and I don't imagine this is like setting up a lemonade stand... Give it until late next week if you are not happy with your results then go for it...

Why the hell is everybody threatening with CC chargebacks??? You know damn well 90% of the CC companies aren't gonna bite. If they do, I assure you you're money will be tied up with the CC company much longer than sb.com, plus they'll close your CC account. You're definitely making a bad situation worse.

Just finished another jerk-off session with a CSR. He assured me that everyone will NOT be getting paid anytime soon and that the wire offering is only a SURVEY and not an actual method of withdrawl.

I have to commend this CSR for his honesty and integrity.

Just finished another jerk-off session with a CSR team leader. I asked her, "Why is there no disclosure on the website about withdrawl delays?" She responded, "If we did disclose this, there would be a substantial amount of decrease in deposits."

Hearing things like this really scares the shit out of me! Somebody Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!

Cs guy I spoke to said checks would be going out soon. I asked him why he thought so. He siad that what the withdrawals department is telling him.

    stiffed,

the reason many of us are contemplating a chargebacck is that time is running out. Once you wait over 2 months, it becomes very hard to do a charge back. EFs has so far dleays us 3 weeks. if we give them another month, and they still can't pay, we're screwed.

My wire just got processed according to a CSR. They couldn't guarantee me delivery though. They claim they're in a trial period.
