The only facts are 1) repeated lies by MB (on a variety of issues) 2) slowpay. WHY IS EVERY OTHER COMPANY ABLE TO PAY PEOPLE?!?!

As the NBA and NHL seasons are now complete, Matchbook will start making a final payout to all US players with future wagers.

If you are one of the users, please make a withdrawal request and your payment will be processed immediately.

Could you provide the name of the company that is holding player's money hostage? I would assume that MB has authorized the withdrawals and it is the SOLICITORS who're holding player's money ransom. I would also assume MB would like to reveal these thieves to the world.

There are 10 people who have had problems with the credit/DC paybacks that now have cheques on the way and probably have already received them.

There are 5 people from NY state where we have had incredible difficulty sending wires post April 15th 'black Friday'. We have now found a solution.

All future bet payments are being sent out now as the seasons just finished.

As I mentioned numerous times Matchbook is very well funded. If we didn't run into complications with our payment processors, post April 15th 'Black Friday', these payments would have been completed over a month ago.

These solicitors were asked to hold the amount due to the players from future bets. Upon completion of the NHL and NBA season they returned the funds to the payment processors which are now in the process of sending funds on to the players. This is the service they provided for Matchbook.

Unrelated question. I know access to Matchbook from the US was blocked a couple of months ago. I am now able to view the lines/markets. Any reason for this change?

We now block Ip's upon registration, or during the bet process, as opposed to when they try to visit the site.

I wanted to post that MB contacted me today via email. 3 of my futures bets are now settled, and MB informed me that they will be sending me the proceeds (I am US based). Not sure the timing, but I do like the fact they were proactive and reached out to me on this.

Figure out 20-25 days. Thats what mine took via DHL overnight. lol

Thats very odd to read.

I received an Email from MB a while back saying that the funds were not being transfered to any regulators and were being held by Matchbook.

I fully recall posting a message about how happy I was when i received that notice from Matchbook.


This departure from the US market was a new story everyday.

Knowing that they have no funds - I wouldnt put mine there for a long time. And say what you want about me not knowing they have no money, blah blah.. It doesnt take 100 days to pay players. Bank wires not being accepted in NY is a lame excuse when you claim to have been sending checks. So why havent these people been paid by check?

The contradictions from the new management have been funny. Funniest part is the people still touting them just dont sit there and think about it.

I honestly would have never thought about them not having any money if I was still playing there. But taking so long to pay people. A wire takes 72 hours, max.

Before they blamed Antiguan "regulators", then they changed the terminology to "solicitors", but they refuse to release who these people actually are. So... No one actually knows who or wtf is going out. New management has no prior history other than this 3+ month slowpay of players.
