    BetOpenly.com???

Anybody ever hear anything about it or use it?

Peer-to-peer...rake 1%...not clear where or whether it's licensed. Owner on Twitter lists Florida as home. Hmmmm.

There is good info about it in these two older threads

They believe they do not need a license due to a loophole around sweepstakes laws AFAIK.

They have been operating around 2 years now, so either they have stayed under the radar or their loophole is real.

The 1% is not 1% of the winnings like Betfair. It's 1% of the total risk. So more like 2%.

It can be difficult to get anything more than small bets matched.

They send out tax forms is you win more than $600 in a year.

I was finally able to open an account this year n my state. I have used them for a couple months, small stuff so far. The idea is great, the juice is great. I have only made a few small withdraws after my second deposit. It has limits as far as bet availability but I check it before each bet I am looking at simply for the reduced juice. It works great if you are a bonus guy and utilize the freeplay calculator, you can get your percentage into the mid 60% to 70% conversion. Tax forms is a drawback.

Do you still play there? How has it been? I just stumbled across them recently and I'm considering joining. If you have any new info that hasn't already been mentioned, let me know! Thanks!

This is Mike, old account was closed on me. Absolutely still use them, the reduced juice is too good to pass up especially with the freeplays and arbitrage opportunities more often. They are working to expand options like tennis but it's still limited a bit. I haven't explored their contests but I see them listed often, I need to see what they are all about. I think it's a must add book.
