Wow! BetUS just limited me after 2 max payouts

So hit I a hot streak and was betting max on soccer games @ $500 and then going to live wagering and bet on same game for max $1k. (Don't ask me why live wagering max is higher than regular game max.) So I recently did back to back $5k payouts. I then went to do another max play for a new soccer game. And lo and behold they limited me by cutting it in halves with $500 limit for live wagering.

I'm fine with being limited but I find it irritating that the books promote and encourage you to gamble with their outrageous bonuses. In one month I went from gold to platinum level. Well, another book that I'll discontinue once my balance is zero.

Cool, won my last $1k bet and get to do one last $5k payout.

Nobody wants to listen to me when I say this. Go play live dealer, casino, some slots, whatever. Be willing to lose a few bucks and you won't get limited/booted. I've never had issues anywhere once I started doing this.

No idea if you're a net winner in sports or soccer but if people are just willing to show a site/sportsbook they are willing to gamble on -EV offerings they'll last much longer with a site.

Interesting. Any success with that -EV casino strategy at US books?

I've started doing this too - how much are you losing/playing on -EV games? I was able to run up ~$20k on a kambi book while playing $10 a blackjack hand

Yeah the casino play does sometimes work but you need to lose enough for an operator to really consider your sports play (if on winning side) worth allowing full limits to. If you’re down $500 in the casino but up 16k in sports most books will still slash your limits. Legal books in particular are so quick since most are ran by european 3rd parties (sb tech & kambi) they will suggest to cut a players limits quick and since these operators (draftkings, betrivers etc) aren’t actually trading themselves and are all about money they will agree with these euro companies.

Why do books limit so fast when all most people do is get on a lucky run??

Everyone loses long term and I mean everyone

    How dumb are books?

Anyone on the backend of a panel will tell you long term every player ends up in red if allowed to keep playing especially small off market numbers or market numbers

Well, that's obviously not always true since there definitely are people who do this for a living / partial living. But I do agree that they probably shoot themselves in the foot by limiting many players too quickly.

Was thinking the same thing......$500 bucks in-game is on the upper level of standard. Not bookmaker TV time outs level but certainly fair.

I'm new to offshore books. I've bet a good amount at the New Jersey books. I have also heard that if you play at the casino it will help with sports betting. MGM and Borgata I played an ok amount at the casino, both accounts are limited to $25 bets. Caesars I have played a lot in the casino. The account with casino and sports was down $5000 last year. I am limited to $50 bets. Caesars PA, last year I hammered a +425 college football line that was off. The account was limited to $100 after one bet. At Fanduel I've bet an OK amount on sports but I have played literally millions of coin in on the casino side. My account is down $60k lifetime. I didn't think I was limited but recently the max they would take was $300 on a bet. I thought that was ok. But then a friend placed the same bet and they took $800. Draftkings I have played in the casino significantly. I am up significantly on the casino and sports side and they let me do whatever I want. Draftkings is the best as far as I'm concerned.

So bottom line, unless you have specific info about a site, I would say, no don't play in the casino unless you want to. They will just take your money there and still limit you

I don't know. I'm not sure that just cause they are the same company that they operate the same. I have a NJ WH and Virginia WH account. Both, especially NJ, I would say I have hit some soft lines dozens of times and I'm still good. Accounts are about even, maybe up a couple thousand.

    $250 limits

But you’re about right, only 6-7 decent shops offshore and dwindling yearly.
