Dude, it’s all speculation....many of us here have had issues with reliable books that have ended well and in the players favor but we have seen fraudsters too...Fairlay will do the right thing and hopefully let players know why this occurred.....the only facts that are proven is you had a good relationship with Fairlay and moved a large amount of btc in and out per your posting and now something happened to cause a hold of funds... nothing personal man but just a couple things seemed off a bit with you that’s all and until full story is out we will never know

This is what worries me the most. They should really be as clear and transparent on this as they possibly can.

I don't feel like Kona is affiliated with Fairlay in any way. Just my gut feeling. Yes, majority of his posts were about Fairlay in the beginning... don't we always promote a book in which we have positive outcomes with?

This is quite surprising. Would like to hear Fairlay's reasoning on why they would hang onto the player's balance for? If this becomes the 2nd person publicly they did this to... I may not use them anymore.

I just have a question for the OP... and I don't know if he mentioned this or not?

You claimed the deposit went from exchange directly to Fairlay, correct? Doesn't Fairlay use a different wallet if the amount exceeds 5 BTC or 10 BTC? Did you use the correct BTC link/wallet at Fairlay? And basically it was an automatic review on the account? And you weren't allowed any wagers with this deposit?

I'm just trying to get the story straight.

I used the right address, the deposit itself is not in dispute by anyone, and it was also deposited the same way I’ve done before.

I don’t know if the review was automatic, the deposit got multiple confirmations and I got nothing credited so I reported and then seemingly even support didn’t know for a little bit why it wasn’t immediately credited until they then came back and said that a developer said my account was flagged and that is why my balance never changed. I have no better clue than anyone else now why I haven’t heard any updates or why they won’t give back my money or why it was suspended in the first place. Just the “external party” flagged my account. Not even necessarily that transaction, though I’d be surprised if it was triggered by the transaction.

Sort of have lost hope on this, despite all the support here they still are giving me no information, and I’m not sure what else to do. I think it’s bad business at this point, and so I’d like it to be heard. There are very few explanations if any that would excuse this. Waiting on SBR complaint, but not sure if there’s a preexisting relationship.

I don't believe SBR has a relationship with Fairlay. The initial response from SBR... (judging from other posts made about Fairlay...) they seem to not want to get involved with disputes in regards to Fairlay.

But, I hope this isn't the case and they do indeed go and bat for you.

Thanks, I’ve begun posting on a few other forums but if anyone has any other advice whether which forums or complaint system or governing body may be able to help at least pressure an explanation if not a resolution, I am open to it

#1 what high roller sends direct from exchange to book

You're not winning any battles here or doing yourself any favors. Your logic makes no sense and you're making a lot of assumptions in your own head. As a result you're continuously wrong and displaying stupidity. For example, your #2 point is incorrect, I filed my first and only other complaint under this account (which I've said is my only account). Other people who can read have noticed that + others have pointed out I created this account 8-9 months ago. You said you were done, so run along.

degen. You, like most people who try to get away with scams like this, talk too much. You put your foot into your mouth by saying that you and your ATTORNEY reviewed this. IF that is the case (and I have serious doubts about this) why is your attorney not handling this for you.

Fairlay is a Costa Rican LLC (which means they likely do not have assets parked in the US), what is your attorney going to do? Get a judgement in federal court that isn't going to be worth the paper it's written on because there's no onshore assets to seize?

Fairlay claims to settle disputes in arbitration in their T&C, so it took an hour to just decide what T&C each of us (myself and Fairlay) could be violating and legally who is liable in preparation for arbitration. Hopefully it won't reach that stage

Only problem with arbitration is it's meaningless if there's no court that can enforce it.

Unfortunately, Fairlay isn't going to agree to honest binding arbitration. There wasn't any arbitration in the betg case when Fairlay stole his deposit. I don't remember a case where a lawyer was successful in recovering funds from a sportsbook in Costa Rica although I could be wrong. SBR is the best chance of recovering funds.

Lol Betg again....he would not even send a sbr complaint in...at least this OP has and SBR can attempt to get details and help plus he seems to want to cooperate with investigations not like betg at all....one thing the “3rd party” most likely is a Fairlay developer or a professional market maker that raised this issue that would make most sense I would think

The arbitration stuff is somewhat besides the point, if we got there at least I’d have some progress or an understanding of what happened here.

At this point a decent portion of why this matters is for my sanity, I just don’t understand nor can think of what I could have done wrong as I’ve wagered for such a long time now and did nothing different, if anything I had been winding down due to a few bugs I had experienced on the site that cost me some money/wavered my confidence, but nothing like this.

I think the fact that it’s taken so long for them to resolve makes me think that there was nothing wrong to begin with because in the few cases that would warrant this in T&C, it should be fairly black and white. I just don’t know what it could be where:

A.) they can’t tell me what it is
B.) it’s taken almost two weeks now to even “accuse” me of anything, and give no updates
C.) why they can keep my deposit
D.) how an external party could have gotten involved (i.e at what stage?) the timing was so weird bc it was in a gap where I hadn’t wagered in a couple days and wasn’t carrying much of a balance and then I deposited and the deposit wasn’t credited. From the limited information, it suggests the flag came before the deposit came in as it was never credited to me in the first place (further asking why can’t the deposit at least be returned?)

At the very least the repercussion has to be what we’ve accomplished in this forum, if it’s resolved positively I’ll be happy to ease everyone’s concerns if it’s resolved negatively I’ll also post, and if I’m falsely accused, I’ll document to the best I can that I didn’t do anything remotely wrong (not even on technicalities)

Fairlay took betg's money. They accused him of money washing. Did Fairlay keep the money or send it to Costa Rican authorities?

Dude that’s ancient history and I have no idea what books do with money that’s frozen due to scams..happens a lot from what I see here many scammers...they should have to donate it to gamblers assistance programs or something similar that would help the people who need it.....but be polite here and not hi jack this gentleman’s post with betg spam nonsense....the OP here case is complete differently it seems so far and deserves the post to be about his issues

If you don't know what Fairlay does with the money then you shouldn't blindly back them when they steal.

My guess with degen is that they are going to claim money washing or fixed match. Cloudbet once used match fixing.

This is the second time in 6 months this book is pulling some crap with someone who plays with high amounts, what will they come up 6 months from now and with who? How come no one with smaller amounts? People deposit and withdraw all the time, how does that make for washing, that’s more being cautious? Screw this book and any other book who tries this.

3rd party? And it was from an exchange to Fairlay? Hmmmm is Fairlay doing that police work again? Do they really think somehow degen1 got the funds somehow illegally? Like a chrg-back? This is very odd. Doesn't make any sense.
