I assume they will pay all the players that have funds there.

So what is this source Cferrat? Are you in CR as well?
Weird they would offer such a big bonus, if they were just going to close down. I don't know their overhead situation, but given their ability to advertise cheap someplaces, doesn't seem too likely.
Also, I have very little doubt that they would pay if they closed up.

I wouldn't be surprised. They really screwed it up the last year.

The person that mentioned it to me was asking for work, been there for a few years.

Sorry to see this if true, BUT I predicted this over a year ago in several threads. Their model made absolutely no sense at all.
Nice folks and I am sure the few remaining north american players will be paid.
2 to 3 years ago was a must have book. So long Mike and good luck!!

Now remember that a few years back they said that CRIS was closing so I wouldn't worry they are probably business as usual........

It makes no sense that they would close at the begining of Football...so we'll see, I hope that they make it alright

You probably shouldn't be starting threads like, "SKYBOOK is closing!!", if you don't really have any facts
Maybe you end up being right but you should have made the title "Skybook rumor"
My bad! I should have added a question mark

If they are going, they ain't paying as they are going.
Anyone who leaves THEIR money in there under these circumstances is at best simple minded......
It is YOUR money guys, take care of it. You owe the book absolutely nothing.

Doesn't Marty Jensen, owner of THERX own Skybook.

I think most people play with them because of the half point or a bonus. Otherwise they offers one of the most basic books in history. Not uncommon to find one single event to bet on during slow summer evenings after mlb is off.

Could have been an unhappy employee but I should have frased it differently...although I think that a forum like SBR is to keep players on their toes when it comes to "possibilities"...

I do not undersatnd how a book who offer odds on 3 sports and 5 games can survive - I m not surprised they are closing down... lazy chickens... decide ! either you are in the business or you are not - you cannot be half in heartedly in it.

Players reported being unable to access their accounts this evening, likely due to the porting of information to BetEZ from the original database. SBR will contact Skybook to learn the extent of the company changes and if management will remain on site and continue to operate Skybook's banking. Skybook has struggled to pay players through Neteller as of late, missing or not providing estimated payment dates.
Well you weren't lying Carl Hopefully everything goes ok and everybody gets paid..

Hey JOSHW dont you think the timing of this is a little odd? They run a 100% re-up bonus promotion, make NO announcements until after the re-up period expires and NOW make this announcement 10 days before football starts??

Reminds me of Hollywood becoming a Sportsbook clone, but slightly less significant.
