and instead of paying me they void the bets and claim a full set was not completed

What are you complaining about? They clearly stipulate matches have no action if a set isn't completed. This is fairly common practice, and if you bet tennis you should check with every book before giving them action on a match.

if you read the FIRST SENTENCE under Tennis, it says, "A full set must be completed for money line wagers to be valid. If a full set is not completed, all money line wagers will be canceled."

a lot of books have similar practices. pinnacle does this also. 5Dimes includes a "walk over winner".

if you don't like the rules, go to another book that doesn't have it.

ONE MORE WARNING: Bookmaker has the following tennis rule:

"BookMaker provides all tennis wagers on the individual matches or sets. Betting must be fully completed without player's withdrawal, incapacity or disqualification for bets to stand. If a match is rescheduled due to scheduling, weather problems, bad light, etc. then all bets will have action and all wagers will stand. All tennis future bets are placed as *"All In"* unless otherwise stated. If a player withdraws before participating, then all bets on that player are settled as a loss."

Can you imagine losing $5000 because Nadal got stuck in traffic?

It's been a "Full set must be completed" for as long as I can remember.

You want a payout after a 3 game match.

                  hahahahahahahaha

there is only a couple books out there that do the first ball served rules, and none of them serve americans. everyone else is at least 1 set. some smaller books you have to play the whole match.

Yep. Betmania voided my max bet in a major with my guy leading 2 sets to nil, IIRC.

Standard rule is one set required, though.

Was this Murray vs. Nadal 3 years ago down under? I had the same bet at Bet Phoenix, I think it was 2 sets to none, 3-0 Murray in the 3rd when he quit. Will never forget that one

You have to know the tennis rules of the book you're playing at.

Agreed... and definitely read the rules in advance. Always good to know the special cases before they come up when your money is on the line.
