I think the only reason for this would be a freeroll. It makes me think when i may win big they will stall or keep asking me for things or say they need documents in different formats etc i have had it happen before

That scenario you asking for had already happened to a near friend of mine. (withdrawal now on pending when they suddenly asked for ID). Be aware, they dont take drivence licence as ID-proof. so you are absolute right about being suspicious. Be very careful wth them. Do not touch arbs up to 2-3% and been up for hours. Believe me.
