I know Bookmaker can take this with 100x roll because every line there is full juice, and baseball is worst at 20c. They won't lose much. But on the other hand they have nothing to gain. Their reputation is already like A+.
Has everyone given up hope on a Betislands bailout?

#37I'm kind of hoping this is spot for Heritage. Anyway, I'm willing to deposit the equal amount of my BI loss, if the book covers that loss, and accept a 100x roll.Comment -

#39I am willing to 100x too. If 100x only on the bailout amount, with matching deposit, the roll is 50x on total. Then the book only need to make 1% per bet to make the bailout cost even. Is my calculation right? Sounds like great deal to a book wanting to gain reputation.Comment -

#40No bailout coming.
The SBR Store should temporarily lift the ban on Free Plays and Cash for US members. The majority of the Bet Islands cult originated here, and they're almost exclusively US citizens. At least give us a chance to salvage our losses.Comment -

#42Bill, I am really glad to hear this. I know of a C-rated book and a D+ rated book that are looking to help out their current funded customers with some sort of arrangement. I am wondering if accepting anything along these lines would end up nullifying any bailout for me that you guys might be able to work out later?Last edited by BranchDavidian; 12-22-12, 03:03 PM.Comment -

#43We have talked to a good book earlier today who is trying to make sense of the user info available. It's going to be a few days before players know what if anything comes from this. We'll update this thread.Comment -

#50Every thread seems to be about who is at fault and what SBR knew and when they knew it..i want to know if there are people who still think there is a shot that we see our money..or at least some of it. I have pretty much given up any hope but i thought maybe somebody had some info. that might give me a reason to be optimistic.Comment -

#54May I make a suggestion to SBR? I think if there is a book out there willing to help bail the players then SBR should do everything they possibly can to help try and make it happen. For example let that book off the hook for affiliate fees for quite sometime in the near future that way the book can earn more off of new business brought to them by SBR. Please make it as appealing as possible to help the players out and then Im sure that book will be praised around here for a long timeComment -

I would say the BetED case was just as hard and we did find a book ready to deal in that one. There were some notable advantages with BetEd over BI but a disadvantage or two as well. Having to deal this one during the holidays has added to the difficulty. Probably a 1 in 3 chance a strong white knight will step up. Not great odds but hopeful an industry leader will help out.Comment -

#58I can assure you we will not stand in the way of any deal whatsoever. To the contrary we are exploring every possibility no matter how much of a long shot.

#66Of course.... I dont think anyone here would expect you to "stand in the way". What I am suggesting is find a way to really sweeten the pot..... 1.5 is a lot and in my eyes the only way to make it right is to get it as close to never happening as possible so I think you guys need to pull out all the stops. You know its actually kind of funny because if there is a credible book out there that could crunch the numbers into their favor somehow with sbr's help and ALL balances accounted for they would instantly separate themselves from the rest of the pack in a hurry...... this could end up being a million dollar investment that could possibly payout huge dividends in the future if done right....... if no one steps up tho I think they will all feel the impact of this cuz its huge..... make no mistake of it.... its a big dealComment -

#67We don't have any control in these kind of deals outside of getting the info to the right people. They first look at how many of the players they already have. We will not have any financial involvement in any future deal assuming one materializes. The deal I mentioned earlier seemed to not go through because the marketer wanted to maintain their position or who knows why. None of that is an issue in this potential bailout.Comment -
