#40I talked to Jon on the phone a bit ago and he said the juice things would be fix soon. I was complaining about 40 cent lines in soccer and he is going move them to 20 as well as the other juice. He also said they would be a big anoucement today on the sbr page. He told me a bit about it but I will wait till it comes out. All I can say is they are more stable now then ever and this upgrade will surpass the other big books.Comment -

#41I have been with Bet Islands since very early on. I was a big fan but did notice the drop in customer service the bigger they got. Jon has been great to me and is usually been available if I needed him or he'd call me back pretty quickly. Here are my concerns:
1. I like everyone else had a very tough time contacting them on Saturday. When I finally got in touch with someone, he told me they weren't having problems with the phones, they were just busy. In the past when they were busy, I'd get a busy signal not dead air like I kept getting.
2. Why would they fire longtime employees (Ben and Mia if indeed they were fired) if they were on the verge of going so big and offering more options? Why not use those valuable employees to help train the new employees? Also, why make this change on a football weekend in the middle of your busy time?
3. Why has the customer service phone # recently changed? If you were just upgrading your system, why change phone #'s that me and many others had programmed in our phones?
I personally do not buy the upgrading our systems story. I think Bet Islands had to move quickly. I think they are now using another companies call center, their systems and agents. I'm not sure what this will mean in the long run. I wish they'd tell us the entire story.
I don't think it's time to panic but I will be treading very carefully to let this dust settle. I think Jon deserves trust but you never know in this industry what might happen tomorrow. Who would of thought Bet Jamaica would ever leave. I sure hope it works out but there is too much smoke at this point.Comment -

We all know what happened to these, anyone thinking BI is a safe book is naive.
A top book doesn't have to promote themselves here all the time like Jon does, really how obvious can it get we all had that before here with books like BP and many others.Comment -

For years I have posted on this board , and never once have I let anybody or any players down.
Not one single payout complaint , I always do my absolute best for clients and make sure everyone gets serviced correctly.
Specualtion could be made of every single sportsbook in the gambling business. But we have always proven to be one of the fastest and most reliable payout books. Every book has issues but ask yourself when have we skipped a beat on payouts? Have we stopped offering good deals?
A top book does not need to promote itself? So what is a top book supposed to do ? Turn its back on the players? Not the way Betislands operates.
If I let go of 2 sales clerks , that means NOTHING to business as a whole. Sales clerks do not affect the financial backing of Betislands or any book.
Now I read about people doubting us because I am trying to expand the business? Come on guys.. doubt me and Betislands when you see a payout complaint not because we are expanding and had some tech issues in the process.

We recently let go of certain employees , unfortunately after we did threads like this one and the one I am linking below started appearing.
Sports betting and handicapping forum: discuss picks, odds, and predictions for upcoming games and results on latest bets.
Our payouts have been going out like clockwork and we are currently upgrading our software so that we may offer a larger betting cart , overnight lines on all mayor sports , adding tracks to our racebook.
Far from folding we are actually trying to upgrade and expand our services.
