Marco, ever think of possibly they werent doing a good job???? I mean just cause business is good, deadbeats just dont stay around. I am a business owner myself and business is good, but if somneone working for me is not doing a good job, then yes after speaking to that person once or twice they have to be let go!

yep there's two reason why this staff got fired. either BI isn't doing too well, so BI have to lay off some people (which marco is hinting at) or the staff that got fired sucked at their job and jon had to fire for poor performance (which footballtime is hinting at). we probably won't find out the truth cuz it's a matter of he said, she said situation.

on one side, i personally can't trust jon since he blatantly lied in this thread. and on the other side, i can't really trust a BITTER staff member that was just fired.

Marco, they didnt claim they were not doing a good job. But obviosly there is some reason they were let go and personally i dont care why they were let go. I have always been paid by Betislands, and Jon has always treated me well. But once again that is my personal experience with Jon and betislands. You do what you feel comfortable doing with betislands, but personally it would take alot more then some one with a sign up date and 1st post to scare me away from a place i have alway been treated well and paid in a timely fashion. We pay our clients , this is not something new.

If you could find me one single client that has never been paid from Betislands , you will get the benefit of the doubt.

We do more for our clients than most shops , rebates , bonuses , etc etc.

It is quite obvious there is an agenda here , but most importantly is there any evidence to show that we are not a good book?

Yes we had some tech issues for 36 hours due to the upgrade but clients sometimes fail to see the big picture, and I understand that which is why I always do my best to keep everyone happy.

We have expanded our betting cart , upgraded our software , and many more changes in the next week coming up.

Our payouts have always gone out like clockwork , and our clients for the most part are always satisfied.

I however love betislands and have been doing business with them for over a year now! I have came to know several reps personally like Ryan and Bob who always shoot you straight! matter of fact i got a payout today from them took them less then 7hrs to get it too me! I have so much faith in them i would move from small Mississippi to costa rica and work for these guys! They told me today they are making changes for the good and i agreed with them about that they now have a sales staff and customer service and also a wagering staff all now taking calls, and you can understand the people over the phone as well unlike most books ex: youwager so trust me betislands isn't going anywhere they are only getting stronger!! Ryan and John i know you see this and your welcome

I have been with BetIslands for a long time and their customer service has always been the best in the industry. I found out today that their majority owner in the US was arrested a little over a week ago. Jon found a couple of financial backers. Nobody knows how deep their pockets are or how much money they have. Jon fired all of his employees and hired all new personnel having them use the names of the former employees. This is the reason that they have been having contact problems and it's not due to upgrades as stated by Jon.
Good luck if you stay, I have no reason to believe that they will be able to honer their debts anymore. I am going back to 5 Dimes. By the way, Taxer is Jon.

We all know what happened to these, anyone thinking BI is a safe book is naive.

Now Jon tells us the owner had "legal issues". So we know that the owner really was arrested in October, as stated in the original post of this thread. Gee, could this have had anything to do with the Cantor Gaming/Pinnacle fiasco?

So SBR knew the owner was arrested in October 2012. Remember, they had "confirmed" the ownership group was solid. So they knew his name. And there's no way they didn't see the Cantor Gaming/Pinnacle story.

Specualtion could be made of every single sportsbook in the gambling business. But we have always proven to be one of the fastest and most reliable payout books. Every book has issues but ask yourself when have we skipped a beat on payouts? Have we stopped offering good deals?

A top book does not need to promote itself? So what is a top book supposed to do ? Turn its back on the players? Not the way Betislands operates.

If I let go of 2 sales clerks , that means NOTHING to business as a whole. Sales clerks do not affect the financial backing of Betislands or any book.

yeah this thread is amazing and quite old too. a lot of damage could have been prevented if his warning would have been taken serious
