Did you contact the book right away? Important thing is they can't perceive you having a chance at winning... as in placing the bet very late but with the outcome still in play and then being upset a few minutes later when its over.

This happened with me at Heritage. I found the official start time with much digging and sent that to them, and they refunded the bet but told me "they didn't have to".

Books "should have to" and will refund this bet or else they are free rolling you. You should have sent the book an e-mail/message immediately when you noticed though. It's very hard for a book to figure out at what point a match of tennis was. Start time okay... but I doubt they will know if you made the bet when your player was 3-1 up or lost the set.

Was your player ever "winning" in the 1st set? If so, you might have a harder time.

yes, sent email to the book immediately. they credited back the money. the set was clearly over before I even placed my bet.

the wager in my history shows "Loss" but they put a credit into the account for the amount.

                    glad they did this
