Neither side is in the greatest of form at the moment. CCM is coming to the end of their A-league campaign and have hit a bit of a brick wall even though they managed to top the A-League table. They only have 3 wins out of their last 10 games. There aren't any injury concerns for CCM but they are making a few changes to keep themselves fresh for the 2nd leg of the Semi Final with Brisbane Roar this weekend.
Seongnam are also struggling for form. After starting their K-League campaign a month ago they have only one win out of 5 K-League games but have also had to cope with the ACL games which doesn't help get into a good rhythm early in the season. They have an almost full squad arriving on the Central Coast, and could be a danger with two strong Brazilian strikers in attack. Their coach is also an ex-assistant coach from Brisbane Roar which will provide some local knowledge and can only help their situation. Roar staff might have even provided some info to help him.
After 2 games each in the AFC Championship, both have two draws each and another draw is not out of the question once again. I have always considered the South Korean sides stronger than the local Aussie teams and despite CCM coach Graham Arnold calling this a must win game, I wonder how much they are looking ahead to keeping their A-League hopes alive on the weekend. Because of this I favour Seongnam and with favourable odds on DNB on the Korean team I will happily take it to cover the draw.Comment -

After ten minutes, Seongnam is looking better. But no chances at all so far, both teams pretty much looking to have the ball for a long time, pretty controlled defense.
