France U20s PK @ -184 against Turkey U20s...
Don't like betting against host nations, but I think France will be too physical and have too many players that player at a high-level week in week out and are used to a bit of pressure unlike many of the Turkey players that have only had a handful of games for their clubs. Also, despite being home nation there hasnt exactly been fervent support for the Turks (attendances in general have been lower than previous tournaments). Maybe it will change now that they are closer to finals thoughComment -

#5578This U20 WC is a fuckking disaster. Funny thing is i backed Uzbekistan against a shit Uruguay side, and then this game was always going to be a solid lean for Greece and then this happens. I see weird random patterns going on here, it's almost obvious how the football world is directly linked/dictated/scripted by the betting/fixing world. Yes i know some people might be looking at this going ahh he lost a few bets and he thinks every match is fixed and that players risk too much wages to fix matches and they would not risk that, but you see it's not about that, if you really think outside the box you can get a sense of how certain situations can be scripted as if the writer passes on the script to the director then the director telling the actors what to do and so on....you always see a similar concept going on in the football world at all levels.Comment -

#5579A la, if you're thinking about it too much and really trying to figure out why you aren't picking winners.
Everyone goes on cold streaks. But there is a winner and a loser to every side. We all know futbol among other sports is known for it's match fixing but that's like saying every sports is rigged. On the flip side, I've had a pretty damn good U20 WC, maybe their scripting it for me?Comment -

#5580yeah I think it's more to do with these players just being very inexperienced which leads to inconsistent performances. That's why I backed France yesterday, they have players that played a lot for big sides or in big leagues last season (Kondogbia at Sevilla, Pogba at Juve, Thauvin at Bastia, Umtiti at Lyon, etc..) so know how to perform when it matters and under pressureComment -

#5581Linfield PK @ -130 away at Fuglafjodur...
Fuglafjodur will be without two key players accroding to Linfield's website...
Update from Faroes
Submitted : 3rd July 2013 at 1:10:01 PMAfter the rain of yesterday the Linfield party woke up to a bright dry sunny day with blue sky. The hotel overlooks the bay and the cruise liner down below had set sail.
The team are staying in Torshavn near the national stadium where the game will take place tonight.
Fuglafjordur is a small fishing village an hours drive away from Torshavn and last night the officials of the home club known as IF took the Linfield directors to a restaurant in their village. The team is usually watched by around 400 supporters at their home games and they are expecting around 300 to make the hour long journey to Torshavn to cheer on their team tonight.
The village has 1500 inhabitants and Fuglafjordur means birds bay in English. The village is looking forward to its annual rowing festival at the weekend.
IFs 42 year old goalkeeper and their Brazillian star player will miss out tonight's game due to being away on holiday. Linfield trained this morning at the ground shared by B36 and HB which is just behind the national stadium where tonight's game will take place.Comment -

#5582Fabian O'Neil has admitted fixing Serie A games whilst at Cagliari and Perugia...
O'Neill: 'I fixed Serie A games'
By Football Italia staff
Former Cagliari midfielder Fabian O’Neill sensationally confessed to fixing twoSerie A gamesand punching Gennaro Gattuso.
The Uruguayan of Irish heritage is now retired at the age of 39, but played for Cagliari from 1995-2000, going on to Juventus in 2000-02 and Perugia for six months.
“I fixed games myself in Italy,” O’Neill told Montevideo.com.uy andcalcionews24.
“Against Chievo Verona we both would’ve been safe from relegation with a draw and the clubs would pay us a $60,000 bonus each. I went to speak to their captain and we all placed bets on a draw.
“At the 87th minute one of our players scored and we went 2-1 up, a shot from 40 metres that went into the top corner. That wasn’t supposed to happen. So I shouted at Diego Lopez: ‘Concede a goalor they’re going to kill us.’ Diego lost possession and they scored the 2-2 final result.
“It wasn’t the only time, as I did it with Perugia too, as I was captain and we all placed bets.”
The 2-2 draw with Chievo was on June 14 1998 and his then-teammate Diego Lopez is currently co-Coach of Cagliari.
O’Neill was always a controversial character and also confessed to repeatedly punching Gattuso during a match against Milan.
“Gattuso had a reputation for provoking the South American players, so I promised I’d punch him. During a close marking I smacked him and hoped I’d receive one back. He looked like he wanted to kill me. We continued with threats – all in Italian – and I punched him again.
“I drank a lot back then and had a few problems with tests. Nothing happened at Cagliari because the President adored me.
“It was different at Juventus, as every month they did blood tests and I hadhigh cholesterol among other things. The doctor used to say I should’ve been locked up rather than playing football.
“Once at Juve I went to a party at Pippo Inzaghi’s house and there were lots of girls from TV shows there. We danced and drank beer, but everyone except me ended up having sex that night. The day after I saw them on television and told my wife: ‘Look, last night I was with all of them and didn’t do anything!’”

#5583lol vaughs, that match-fixing story is not even surprising in that league just funny. Fact that both teams knew the script and one of the players couldn't help scoring to take the lead.Comment -
