Guadeloupe dug themselves a huge hole in their opening match vs Panama. Two goals in a minutes span left them 3-0 down at half time. They switched it up in the 2nd and played with 2 upfront and it worked well, but the deficit was too large and they lost 3-2.

Canada was beaten 2-0 by the USA in their opening match at Ford Field. The game was pretty open, but Canada could not take any of their chances. Their top attacking players were frustrated by a sound USA defense.

I like Canada to get on the scoreboard today. Guadeloupe's defense is porous and unfamiler with each other as this will only be the 2nd game CB pairing David Fleurival and Stephane Auvray have played together since the 2009 Gold Cup. Guadeloupe did beat Canada 2-0 in the 2007 Gold Cup, but this team is not as talented.

Canada will look to use their width and speed on the flanks to get in behind Guadeloupe and unsettle them. I look for a game with goals here. Guadeloupe needs to get something from this game so they should start with two forwards and if Canada can take a few of their chances we should see something like 2-1, 2-2 or 3-2.

Alright I will make this one short. The USA is going to win this game 3-0. The American attack will be too powerful for Panama and their defense is much better than Guadeloupe's. Look for the USA to hit their stride early in the 1st half and grab a 3rd goal around the 60' mark to secure the victory.

No play on Guatemala Grenada, both are sh1t. Wouldn't be surprised if Grenada keeps it close though.

Jamaica and Honduras have clashed three times in the Gold Cup Honduras has two wins and one for the Reggae Boyz. Honduras whipped Jamaica 5-0 in 1991, as well and beat them a 2-0 in 2000. Jamaica won the other match 3-1 in 1993.

Jamaica has already qualified for the knockout round, but will be looking to remain in lead position of Group C to avoid a match with Costa Rica. Jamaica has beat Grenada 4-0 and Guatemala 2-0 so far in this tournament.

Honduras is coming off a huge win vs Grenada. Following their disappointing 0-0 draw with 10-man Guatemala, Jamaica steam rolled Grenada 7-1. Interesting enough the 7-1 drubbing was actually a come from behind defeat as Grenada held a shock lead for a few moments. Carlo Costly grabbed hat-trick in the rout and Jerry Bengstson scored a brace.

This is great news for Honduras as they rely heavily on their forwards for goal scoring. This game will be much different than the last, but Honduras should have enough here. They are technically better than Jamaica and should be able to frustrate them in attack.

Take this with the fact that Honduras’s goal scorers are flying and I will play them straight up for a win.

+525 vs the USA is a must grab in my opinion. Jamaica speed alone will bother the US defense. On the other hand, USA will generate chances against Jamaica too and eventually get 1 off a free kick or corner / set play. Jamaica wins 2-1
