The reggae boys are in great shape after mauling Grenada 4-0. It could of been much worse as Grenada only had 32% of the ball and their goal keep played out of his skin for most of the match. Jamaica can clinch a knockout round spot with a win today.
Guatemala come into this game on the back of a 0-0 with Honduras. Guatemala did not create any chances and had two players sent off during the 2nd half. Guatemala is a typical Central American die that plays mostly on the break. A win for them would go a long way to grabbing a spot in the knock out round with lowly Grenada still to play.
I think we will see goals here. Jamaica are a great attacking side with little attention to defense. They have speed and flair up front and more than a few players who can finish. I also expect Guatemala to catch them out at least once tonight. Jamaica will commit to many players forward and can be susceptible to the breakout.

Grenada and Cuba are the worst teams in this tournament. With a win Honduras will put themselves in a great position to qualify for the 2nd round. In the 2009 Gold Cup Honduras spanked Grenada 4-0. Grenada has lost their last 5 games. They only covered a 2.5 goal spread once during that span and that cam against fellow minnows Haiti. Good teams destroy Grenada. Honduras has plenty of fire power to demolish this team. Do not forget that many of the Grenadian players play kick about in villages.
Grenada's best player Craig Rocastle is a major doubt tonight as he reportedly suffered ligament damage to his knee during the match vs Jamaica.
"The doctors at the game yesterday that work for LA Galaxy and Chivas (USA) basically said I have some ligament damage, but we don't know how bad it is until we get it scanned, and they gave me the injection shot with the medication to keep it under control at the minute and so far we'll see as time goes on," Rocastle said on the team's Charter flight from Los Angeles to Miami.
Honduras kept Guatemala from getting even 1 shot on target last game and I doubt Grenada will fair much better. Honduras will get plenty of chances and its just a matter of time until they score the 1st goal. There are pretty much only two plays here; Honduras or the total.

Good luck tonight with your picks.....I didn't pull the trigger on either game as I see both as tight 1-0, 1-1, 2-1 type games by teams that play conservative except for maybe Jamaica.........but how bad might Granada be I am not certain as they could give up 2 or 4!!??? I see Honduras when away from their home country is a 0-1 goal kind of team....hoping you hit your plays in the Concacaf.........
I only had one play today and its long over so I'm sitting back capping for tomorrow and watching some Gold Cup action!

You have done simply fantastic in this Gold Cup.........don't let a loss or two sting you......it should feel like a little bite.........no great shakes...........there was easy money this first round but I am expecting it to get a touch harder as every game is played out.........the important thing from here on out.......IS TO LOOK FOR THE EDGE AS TO WHAT THE GAMES MEAN TO EACH TEAM FROM THIS POINT ON........
