2 starters , not multiple. Defender Upamecano has a sore throat and sat out yesterdays practice , and Rabiot has an undisclosed illness and also missed practice.

More importantly , 3 Moroccan players are nursing injuries and questionable today.....Key midfielder Ziyech is one of them who is listed. The other 2 are defenders Aguerd and Saiss.

Advantage : France imo

Worried if i backed Morocco considering the depth of both squads

Morocco has done an amazing job for their nation and the program should be applauded. Croatia a much more superior side than Morocco and they went down to my original picks as winners Argentina and just like them the midnight clock will strike again and another Cinderella will go home. I will look for an in play wager for next goal France when France manage to score their first. It might take 5 minutes or 60 but as soon as Mbappe the next best player in the world puts one in, Morocco will have to open up and the second or third one will be inevitable. This one is simple as pie, take the better team.

Morocco will have all the motivation to get a 3rd place medal as a token from their historic run. Yes teams actually get medals where as 4th place gets nothing. One has to wonder if Croatia really care about this game, having finished second in the last world cup. The fan support will also be 90% in favour of Morocco.
Usually I'm always taking the auto over in 3rd place games, not here. First there will be duel between the two goal keepers for the Golden glove award given out to the best keeper at each world cup and IMO its between these two. Secon, both countries play defense first and played to a 0-0 result in their group stage game. Form wise only one game of the past 4 has gone over the total for both sides. Thinking a 1-1 or 0-0 result and just like echoes from 1986 where a 3rd place game went into extra time between Belgium and France. I would not be surprised this game doing the same.

These are the sharpest lines you are going to see for any event. I was going to back Argentina in regular time but the illness in the French camp seems to be just noise, and players should be ready for this match. I don't expect a repeat of the 2018 world cup classic in Russia when France won 4-3 and we saw 8 yellow cards. I do see a close game however and I see it going the distance. A 2-2 full time final could be in the cards as both these sides can score at will. 4 of the past 5 world cup finals went into extra time and I expect that trend to continue.
