Got nothing to do on this lovely Sunday so i thought i would get to work on my picks for next week so i don't have to worry about them midweek.
I'm definitely going to play Portsmouth DNB and Blackburn. I also may play Sunderland but i'm a bit unsure because i need to keep the strategy in mind and i have a third pick of Ipswich DNB over Middlesbrough. I can get 5/2 for that so i think that is definitely worth a unit as Ipswich have all the situational factors on their side, and i know Boro, we lose these games usually.

So far i am thinking 3 units on Pompey, 2 on Blackburn and 1 on Ipswich

I am going to leave the lower leagues for a while, they cause me nothing but heartache so i am going to keep to the better quality leagues.

If I were you, I'd reverse those units. I'd do:

3u on Ipswich DNB, 2u on Blackburn and 1u on Pompey.
Why? Bolton is a surprise team anyday! I don't trust a rather lame Portsmouth offense against Bolton. Just my 2 cents.

Cheers wil, i just worked out what 3u on Ipswich would do to my bankroll, friggin' DOUBLE IT!!! lol. I like that pick a lot because Boro still have the injuries so i appreciate the input and i will change the structure to it. I picked the games out on Sunday but i still haven't played any.

Ok, i have placed my wagers for the weekend and here they are:

Sunderland 0.75ah +100 2U
Portsmouth DNB -125 2U
Chelsea -250 2U
Preston -111 2U
Ipswich DNB +250 2U

Wil - i daren't put a 3rd Unit on Ipswich although i wanted to but i've taken Blackburn away completely. I know only one team from Sunderland and Blackburn will win and i hope i am on the right one.

what is your opinion on W.B.A. - Plymouth game? Im thinking about betting on W.B.A. on handicap. Crystal Palace - Scunthorpe is quite a good price on Crystal as well.

WBA should roll in that one, the handicap would be a good choice. I was torn between Chelsea and WBA on which to bet this weekend and chose to trust the PL side, but WBA have far too much quality for Plymouth.
I would never touch Scunny though, they are going straight back down

Yeah, preseason doesn't tell us much of anything... the first 1-3 weeks are tough as we are till just getting to know the teams.

Smog - I have read smwhere that Stoke will play with 5 men in defence (srry dont know where and Im too lazy to search for it ..) - that is the main reason for me to not bet on Chelsea on 1.40 with Jetbull. Handicap looks like a stupid bet to me

Didn't take oxford, i've taken a break from the lower leagues, i ****ing hate those useless footballers down there, the lack of quality appals me. Any higher up league bets though Vreston and i willl definitely take your advice on board

Today i went 3-2 for a win of 0.6 Units. I am not happy though, it would have been over 2 Units but Pompey are ****ing atrocious and lost in the last minute that would have got me a push. Cheers Wilforth for making me downgrade them a unit

However, Boro won convincingly so i lost on that bet, with mixed emotions of course.

This is a very interesting matchup and if anything I'd take the over. Both teams can obviously score anywhere and I'd be surprised if Newcastle played conservatively, it's not like they are afraid of any team in the league.

This is the ultimate coin-toss, obviously home field advantage counts but you can't guess this one.
