Every city in this country has a gun problem. It is not confined to dem mayors. There's too many damn guns and despite people dying from gun violence has gone down, the number of people committing suicide by guns are epidemic levels. This is true all over the world. Easy access to guns, more gun violence. What island do you live on? Are you in the Caribbean? Caribbean countries have gun violence 3 times higher than most other countries. Why? Gun manufacturers distributing guns to these countries. It's pretty simple. More guns = more people killed by guns.

You can tout Giffords Law Center all you want. The West side of Chicago has some of the highest concentrated number of guns on the streets.

In D.C. it was St. Elizabeth's Mental hospital and after it's closure along with others due to no federal funding, it had a big hand in the tent city stuff you see today in multiple cities across the USA.

The Reagan administration pushed the doors closed on Federal health aid in the U.S. in the 80's. Yeah, I know protectorates of the Republicans, Democrats voted too. So where did all those patients go?
