Quit projecting with the tariffs. The tariffs are bad for the consumers as they are the #1 cause of inflation. This is why the price of beef, coffee, orange juice, lumber, electricity and cars is through the roof with Trump.

The President of the European Commission - who Trump made the deal with - replied that the entire goal was to resolve the imbalance with America - *precisely* what Trump said was the problem.
Damn that ignorant and economic illiterate MAGA crowd

JT still believes that Canada and everyone else sends USA money for tariffs.
Shocking how ignorant Trump thought Americans are to even say that. Even more stunning there were enough MAGAs that economically illiterate to actual believe it. And keep arguing how it is true even haha!
How does that TACO taste ?
You know how Trump Always Chickens Out
He’s making you look sillier by the day .

The other disaster that Trump caused is the US dollar to Euro exchange rate. The dollar is so week right now that Euro is up 15% the last 6 months. So a Euro producer shipping $100,000 worth of wine or olive oil to the US is making 15% more due to the exchange rate when he receives the check from the US importer ($115,000) and then the US importer is paying another 15% tariff to Trump. So the importer to make up he needs to bump the price at the store by 30% just to break even but as long as sheep like JTS and Dwight can pay for it at the grocery store they make America great again!
Virtually every country on Earth uses tariffs. Trump is simply making better deals for the US and you hate that because let's face it, you rather see America fail than to see Trump succeed. You are incapable of admitting how past leaders have sold out the country while making themselves and their friends filthy rich for years now.
Watching companies leave, one after another, to another country and then selling their product back to the US consumer, while thousands of Americans lose their jobs. That's been the norm lately. All politicians ever did about it was to bitch and complain, while blaming the other party. That's all they know.
These are dumb people. Incompetent people. Its a racket. They bring in millions of people into the country and they don;t care who they are. Let em all in. We will even fly in 30,000 illegals every month and then give them $ and a plane ticket to their desired city, except to Martha's Vineyards. Cities and towns can endure the influx of people. It's their problem now. Who cares about overcrowding of school and hospitals? The government will even pay for their hotel. Wages go down. Debt goes up. Crime goes up. Chaos. Perfect. No solutions. Just more of the same each and every year.
The Pavy's of the world are used to it. They accept it. There is no magic want Obama said after all. It is what it is. They are trained to blame the other guy, and as anyone can see from your posts, its working perfectly. Most politicians aren't stupid, they are cunning, corrupt, and know how to make money off the system they help create. It's almost perfect. The cherry on top, is they convince people that their incompetence is not their fault. It's always the other guy.
But hey, they will always scrape up enough money to paint rainbows at intersections to let you know they are doing something for your vote.
So go ahead keep on hating on Trump and his administration. He's not gonna be perfect. No one is. Trump is looking years into the future while you are still pretending to be an economist.

I like the Deputy FBI director. We need to get to the bottom of the Epstein files fiasco and release the information to the public. He was the only one who stood up to Trump's personal attorney Pam Bondi when she lied that there were no files after telling everyone they were sitting on her desk. And Trump is too scared to fire him because of the backlash he will get.
When she was asked by a Fox News interviewer about the purported Epstein client list. "It's sitting on my desk right now to review," she said. Bondi's spokesman said last week she had actually been referring to overall files in the matter.
Trump told reporters. "Whatever she thinks is credible, she should release."

Dan Bongino setting the example all decent MAGA people should follow.
FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino vowed on Saturday to uncover the “truth” in a cryptic post on the social platform X, proclaiming that “we cannot run a Republic like this.”
Bongino said that he and FBI Director Kash Patel are committed to “stamping out public corruption and the political weaponization of both law enforcement and intelligence operations.”
“It is a priority for us. But what I have learned in the course of our properly predicated and necessary investigations into these aforementioned matters, has shocked me down to my core. We cannot run a Republic like this. I’ll never be the same after learning what I’ve learned,” the deputy director wrote.

Agreed. I was giving him the benefit of a doubt when he used the "excuse" that if the files were bad for Trump then Biden would have released them already. The point is the puck has been passed to the Trump administration and is Trump's DOJ handling the files so using Biden as an excuse has no use especially when 90% of MAGA wants the files released ASAP unredacted.Leave a comment:

So let’s get this dumb shit straight:
Trump blares out a "$550 billion Japan deal" like he just closed the Manhattan real estate market, and within 48 hours Japan politely coughs and says, “Oh, that? Yeah, that's just a target—not real money. Private companies will decide whether to invest.”
Translation: “We’re not giving you shit.”
This isn’t a deal—it’s a PR hallucination. Even Japan’s finance officials had to step in and clarify that profit sharing will be based on risk and contribution, not whatever Trump fever-dreamed into his press release. That 90% U.S. profit claim? Completely unsubstantiated fluff.
This is textbook Trump:
Slap a made-up number on it
Shove it into a headline
Hope nobody reads the footnotes
Declare himself a genius
Meanwhile, the actual investors? Nonexistent.
The “deal”? Nonbinding.
The money? Vapor.
And for anyone who still thinks this is real:
Go ahead and stand by your mailbox waiting for that $550B check. It’ll arrive right after Mexico pays for the wall.
Keep us updated on what’s not going to happen in the EU deal you laughable dipshit .
President Trump hits MAJOR HOME RUN with a massive European Union trade deal while in Scotland...victory. 'ZERO TARIFF.' Experts lose again.
"The EU is going to purchase from the US $750 BILLION worth of energy...Agree to invest $600 billion. Agree to open up their countries at zero tariff."
"They are agreeing to purchase a vast amount of military equipment."
"We are agreeing that the tariff straight across for automobiles and everything else will be a straight across tariff of 15%. We have a tariff of 15%, we have the opening up of all of the European countries...$750 billion worth of energy, and $600 billion of investments in the United States over and above what they have."Leave a comment:

Despite showery conditions, the US president finished 18 holes at Turnberry in South Ayrshire with guests and family, including his son Eric.
A small group of pro-Trump protesters gathered in the grounds of the resort with a placard which read "President Trump don't trust Starmer".

Ro Khanna and Robert Garcia seek ‘complete and unredacted copy’ of book from Epstein estate lawyers
Democrats request copy of Epstein ‘birthday book’ that reportedly contains Trump poem
House Democrats on Friday sent a letter to the attorneys representing the estate of Jeffrey Epstein requesting a copy of the so-called “birthday book” that reportedly contains a crude poem and doodle from Donald Trump in celebration of the late sex offender’s 50th birthday.
In the letter, California congressmen Ro Khanna and Robert Garcia say the contents of the book may be “essential” to congressional oversight of the Trump administration’s handling of the Epstein controversy. In the letter, they ask for a “complete and unredacted” copy of the book by 10 August.
“The public deserves to know the truth and the survivors and their families deserve justice,” said Khanna, who criticized Congress for leaving Washington early without voting on his bipartisan bill to release the Epstein files.
The birthday book is a leather-bound album compiled by Epstein’s longtime associate Ghislaine Maxwell, who is serving a 20-year prison sentence for conspiring with Epstein to sexually traffic minors. It is reportedly filled with birthday greetings from dozens of Epstein’s friends and associates, including, according to the Wall Street Journal, messages from Trump, Bill Clinton and Alan Dershowitz, among other wealthy and powerful men.
On Thursday, the New York Times published an image of Maxwell’s dedication in the book.
Trump is suing the Journal over its initial report that he contributed a page with an imagined dialogue between “Donald” and “Jeffrey” and a sketch of a naked woman. In his federal lawsuit, Trump called the letter attributed to him “fake and nonexistent”.
Khanna and Garcia sent the letter after a lawyer representing hundreds of Epstein’s victims said the estate was in possession of the birthday book. The lawyer, Brad Edwards, said in an interview with the MSNBC host Lawrence O’Donnell that he believed the estate would turn over the book upon request.
“I know the executors are in possession of this book,” Edwards said in the interview.
Lawyers for the estate did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
“The American people deserve to know who was involved in Epstein’s trafficking network and if they are in positions of power in our government,” Garcia, the top Democrat on the House oversight committee, said.
The Epstein files are at the center of an extraordinary rift between Trump and his Maga base, who have long-demanded the release of documents related to the child sex offender. The White House has failed to quell growing demands from his base for more transparency, while Democrats, out of power in Congress, press the issue to their advantage.
Trump and Epstein’s friendship in the 1990s and early 2000s was well-known and well documented. The president has said that he cut ties with Epstein in 2004, and he has not been accused of wrongdoing in connection with the Epstein matter.
Earlier this week, the Journal first reported that Pam Bondi, the US attorney general, briefed Trump in May that his name appeared multiple times in the files related to the investigation.
In an attempt to confront the matter, Trump had instructed Bondi to seek the release of grand jury transcripts from an investigation into Epstein. In a setback, a judge in Florida rejected the Trump administration’s request, though a similar case is still pending in New York.
In the letter to the Epstein’s estate, the Democrats write that the book is “relevant for ongoing congressional oversight of the Department of Justice’s handling of the Epstein investigation and prosecution, as well as the Trump administration’s decision to declassify and release only a handful of documents from the Epstein files while withholding others from the public”.
Trump’s former criminal defense lawyer, Todd Blanche, who is now the deputy attorney general, met with Maxwell in federal prison on Friday and plans to meet her again on Saturday. Maxwell is attempting to have her conviction overturned.
