#14562Woah pal, I’m not MAGA at all. Have never voted for Clinton, Trump, Biden or Harris. Could truly care less about either party. They have a vice grip on everyone’s brain with their narratives. There are no sides for me… Both have wrecked this country and our culture. Clearly you didn’t read Homie’s comments and entirely missed me being snarky with the comment about gutting things… gutting both parties would be a good start though.
No offense my friend but in my world there is no such thing as trickle down economics or a political savior. Save all the racist undertones also… I’m Hispanic but not your kind of Hispanic if that makes sense. I grew up in the projects in Detroit and mostly everyone I know is dead or in jail, family included. You have no clue about my world view or how I run my business but I will give you a clue…
Back in 2010, I landed $20 million in new business for a marketing firm and they gave me an iPad mini as a bonus. Trickle Down right?! I immediately quit my $150k job and launched my own company on January 1, 2011. I sold everything including my car, condo, all stocks and also cashed out my 401k to get the business going. In that process- I was sued by the firm I left. By time we settled I lived in a 1 bedroom apartment, had no income or clients, had about $1200 to my name and went to work over 120 hours a week from 2011-2017. My first billable month was $1200 and we were about bust… I now bill over $1 million a week. I have been acquired twice and in that process also acquired a larger business. As for trickle down- my partners and I bonus 60% of the profit to our people, leave 15% in the business and distribute the rest to ourselves. We have lost one employee in almost 15 years of business and most of the day 1 people are close to being millionaires, received a down payment for their home as a gift, I set up their kids college funds and in 12 cases I sponsored them to become legal citizens. We are not perfect but work to get better every single day. Guess what? No political party, policy or candidate ever did a damn thing to help us. The people with me since day 1 will own the business by 2035. The only 4 requirements to work for my business are:
1. Integrity
2. Courage
3. Accountability
4. Work ethic
We focus on things we control and that’s why we win.

#14563That is great, and what a better place this country could be (its already great a lot don't understand that) if more people looked at the world in that view. You value loyalty and hard work and reward your people for it. Great values, thank you for sharing. There is a lot of people in the business world that could learn a lot from you.Comment -

#14569I have no reason not to believe everything he said. That makes him a great person to work for and probably 1 in 10 million that would do what he has and is doing for his employees. Over and beyond what you would expect. Most fall short, and don't give a shIt about you or your loyalty and hard work.

I find it funny when people think all business owners are this class of rich snots making greedy decisions. It’s just not true but there are bad business owners out there who are just short term thinkers.Comment -

#14575Check out this graph.
Voters who knew the truth about these four things were vastly more likely to vote for Democrats.
It’s a misinformation problem.

#14577Appreciate the message. When it comes to business and people my judgement is never clouded. Business and leadership is mostly lonely but you can never lose sight of who you are and the mission. There are 1000’s of small businesses like mine that do great work every single day.

#14578I hear what ur saying but I don't believe that about Trump - when Trump won in 2016 and Romney went to Bedminister to get Secretary of State job I thought for sure he would get it - Trump laughed at him and said he lost you career insider creep - Trump plays entirely by his own rulesComment -

#14581[QUOTE=jackpot269;31363161]I owned a carpet cleaning service from 1997 to 2017. I still worked my "day job" for the benefits and I had a good job I did not want to give up. I had 2 part time guys that helped me, with the carpet cleaning. I did all I could do myself. I didn't pay them by the hour, they got a percentage of gross on the jobs they did. They made good money for part time work. On my regular job I worked 500 to 600 plus OT hours a year, then of course I had a business to run. As you well know you give up a lot when working those kinds of hours. I saw my mom and Dad work their whole lives to pay bills and get by raising 5 kids. I did not want to retire with little or nothing to show for a lifetime of work. The last 30 years I have never had to worry about paying bills. I am far from wealthy but very confrontable.[/QUOTE
Comfortable is good. That’s really the goal. We don’t need much at the end of the day. Really the only money I waste is on sports betting! I don’t buy a bunch of material garbage… I do spend a lot of money on travel and experiences with my family though. I’ll end with this, running a business at any level is a lot of work and exhausting. You have to deal with all of it when it’s yours. That’s something that hit me right in the face early on.Comment -

If this woman is for real, she voted in ignorance for something which is totally contrary to her best interests.
And that's the problem with the massive number of voters who pay no real attention to the news and candidates' policies and then end up suffering from it.Comment -

#14587Everything can be verified and happy to do it. I’m easy to find and many around here know me. I think there are more of businesses and business owners doing things like that than you think. You can’t run a business without great people. All that information wasn’t shared to brag… I just had to respond to the original post in a way that shut down any assumptions on who I am and where I stand.Comment -

#14588Anyone think the left buried themselves so badly and became so power hungry and greedy that they FUBARed themselves it is going to take a long time for people to forget? I certainly won't forget anytime soon and I predict that no Dem will be president for at least the next decade.
I could be dead wrong but that is my feeling.Comment -

#14590No one thinks these stories are genuine. Over the past 6 months or so, your heroes trotted out so many paid actors to say "I VOTED FOR TRUMP - TWICE - BUT NOW I SEE WHAT A FASCIST HE IS - MUH WIFE AND I ARE NOW VOTING FOR KAMALA"
Net result was:
1) Convinced no one to vote for Kamala
2) Created overconfidence in true believers (like you) that vast swaths of Trump voters would flock to Kamala.

Your mass of manic missives are comically tone deaf, bro. To date you don't appear to realize that there was a landslide that buried the shot callers in the Democratic Party. It will be interesting watching the Democrats (and DC itself) sort everything out, but your rehashed and failed talking points? Kinda boring.
I tell you all this with brotherly spirit. MAGA, my friend.Comment -

#14592Agreed and they will need a completely new strategy going forward as the people obviously got wise to the BS based on the results of the election that weren't even close. Those with common sense were put through hell and a bizarro world the past 4 years that won't soon be forgotten. It's going to take a long time to get rid of the stink from the Dem experience....
