Isn’t it weird that most right politicians only talk about social policies to their base and not as much about economic policies since their y policies are so heavy on tax cuts for the wealthy and for big business?
I am not bothered as much? I doubt that's accurate. If there is another topic other than climate change you have as an example, I would always give you my opinion. Yes I have changed some opinions about certain topics over the years. Most of us have. Sadly, there are too many who will go to their graves pushing what they know, or think they know, to be untrue simply because they refuse to admit they were wrong.

This thread is about climate change but I will say sometime about your tax cuts comment. This isn't easy because their is plenty of greed to go around. It's not just exclusive to the wealthy or big business. How about civil servants AKA government? You mentioned tax cuts to the wealthy and business but you forgot that millions of Americans also paid less in taxes. How many American Big Businesses decided not to move to another country because of lower corporate taxes? Its hard to measure but I bet thousands of people are glad to still have their jobs because they never relocated. How many times have you waved goodbye to another company who decided to move out of the US, set up shop, pay people much lower wages and still sell their products/service to America?

Since those tax cuts under Trump, the government still brought in more tax revenue than ever. Plus millions more people had a couple thousand more in the bank accounts they weren't sending to the IRS.

One last point, the US debt is 31 trillion dollars. This year a new record deficit of close to 2 trillion will happen and the government is boasting (lying) about how they have reduced the deficit. So why would anyone support higher taxes on anyone, including the wealthy or big business, if the money you are paying in taxes goes to civil servants who are 31 trillion in the red? Seems rather insane wouldn't you say? I think you get my point.

He says climate change is real. He also addresses that people push agendas that help sell themselves. Welcome to every “doctor” who claim we were being microchipped with the vaccine. This isn’t news of courses is scientists want to sell just like every shitty doctor wanted to sell a book.
I noticed all he wants to disprove though is wildfires. Everyone with a brain knows there’s a lot of factors with wildfires. I want to hear him disprove rising temperatures and melting ice caps. Until I hear that substantiated I’m still on the side that climate change is real.
But in total transparency every agenda left or right gets pushed when a time is right. Did you come out firing in the same way when Bush was looking for so called WMDs?
It’s ok to point out things but just do it on both sides man. Be transparent

"Heartbreaking fires in Hawaii! Scientists are clear that climate chaos wreaking havoc on ecosystems everywhere is the new norm," Sen. Jeff Merkley, D-Ore., said in a separate post. "We need to take action immediately or else it will get even worse."

Hawaiian officials attributed the cause of catastrophic wildfires to alleged failures from the state's main power utility company and downed power lines this week after Democrats blamed the disaster on global warming.

In a lawsuit filed Thursday, the government of Maui County, Hawaii, alleged Hawaiian Electric Company (HECO) and its subsidiaries failed to properly power down live electrical equipment amid a red flag windstorm earlier this month. Due to this failure, downed power lines operated by the utility company sparked a series of deadly fires on the island, the lawsuit claimed.

I don't know who or what started the fire, but the electric company filled in court that they had contained their problem 6 hours before the fire started. I guess we will wait on actual evidence in the case.

Why does CO2 drive global warming when there is only 0.04% of it in the atmosphere?

Earth absorbs energy from sunlight, but as the surface warms, it also emits energy in the form of infrared radiation (which we know of as heat) out into space. Water vapor and CO2, however, act like a cap, making it more difficult for Earth to get rid of this energy. Without gases like these to absorb the energy, our planet’s average surface temperature would have been near zero degrees Fahrenheit.
About 99 percent of the atmosphere is made of oxygen and nitrogen, which cannot absorb the infrared radiation the Earth emits. Of the remaining 1 percent, the main molecules that can absorb infrared radiation are CO2 and water vapor, because their atoms are able to vibrate in just the right way to absorb the energy that the Earth gives off. After these gases absorb the energy, they emit half of it back to Earth and half of it into space, trapping some of the heat within the atmosphere. This trapping of heat is what we call the greenhouse effect. Because of the greenhouse effect created by these trace gases, the average temperature of the Earth is around 15˚C, or 59˚F, which allows for life to exist.

CO2 makes up only about 0.04% of the atmosphere, and water vapor can vary from 0 to 4%. But while water vapor is the dominant greenhouse gas in our atmosphere, it has “windows” that allow some of the infrared energy to escape without being absorbed. In addition, water vapor is concentrated lower in the atmosphere, whereas CO2 mixes well all the way to about 50 kilometers up. The higher the greenhouse gas, the more effective it is at trapping heat from the Earth’s surface

Do I really even have to elaborate on why that's a ridiculous assertion? I'm tired, so I'd rather not
