New York's old rainfall record stood for 150 years until 2021, and has now been broken three times.

Hot air holds more water vapor than cold; flooding follows fossil fuel combustion as night follows day.

LOL, I see that DipShit comes out once again to prove his stupidity!
The post he referred to clearly said it was the hottest September reading ever recorded at Sydney airport ... which opened in 1920!

I think in Australia they have been keeping weather records since the mid 1800's but that's not really my point. I think we can both agree the Earth has been around much longer than that.

My point is that Australia is a fukking hot place. Its actually larger than the United States but only a small percentage is fit for humans to live. So it's gonna be hot. In the 90's and the 60's Australia recorded 50 C temperatures. Why? What about the times in 1800 when it hit 49 C? Or the several times since where it almost hit 50? Maybe the sun has to do with it like so many scientists believe? Is it possible that in 2223 people will be posting articles on SBR about the record cool temperatures in Australia?

On the other side, the world's coldest temperature ever recorded was in 2023 I remember reading a few months back. So now what?

Who knows. I like global warming actually.

On the last day of winter in South America, temperatures could peak as high as 45°C (113°F) in Brazil. Brazil could record its highest temperature in history during this winter heatwave. "Heat will be so extreme that it will be dangerous and pose a risk to health and life,"

The President just blatantly touted climate change as being a larger threat to the world than a nuclear war. It seems like he forgets that some of the largest changes in climate would exist because of a nuclear war.

I am not bothered as much? I doubt that's accurate. If there is another topic other than climate change you have as an example, I would always give you my opinion. Yes I have changed some opinions about certain topics over the years. Most of us have. Sadly, there are too many who will go to their graves pushing what they know, or think they know, to be untrue simply because they refuse to admit they were wrong.

This thread is about climate change but I will say sometime about your tax cuts comment. This isn't easy because their is plenty of greed to go around. It's not just exclusive to the wealthy or big business. How about civil servants AKA government? You mentioned tax cuts to the wealthy and business but you forgot that millions of Americans also paid less in taxes. How many American Big Businesses decided not to move to another country because of lower corporate taxes? Its hard to measure but I bet thousands of people are glad to still have their jobs because they never relocated. How many times have you waved goodbye to another company who decided to move out of the US, set up shop, pay people much lower wages and still sell their products/service to America?

Since those tax cuts under Trump, the government still brought in more tax revenue than ever. Plus millions more people had a couple thousand more in the bank accounts they weren't sending to the IRS.

One last point, the US debt is 31 trillion dollars. This year a new record deficit of close to 2 trillion will happen and the government is boasting (lying) about how they have reduced the deficit. So why would anyone support higher taxes on anyone, including the wealthy or big business, if the money you are paying in taxes goes to civil servants who are 31 trillion in the red? Seems rather insane wouldn't you say? I think you get my point.

Hot mess[/COLOR] As a scientist, I'm not allowed to tell the full truth about climate change
He says climate change is real. He also addresses that people push agendas that help sell themselves. Welcome to every “doctor” who claim we were being microchipped with the vaccine. This isn’t news of courses is scientists want to sell just like every shitty doctor wanted to sell a book.
I noticed all he wants to disprove though is wildfires. Everyone with a brain knows there’s a lot of factors with wildfires. I want to hear him disprove rising temperatures and melting ice caps. Until I hear that substantiated I’m still on the side that climate change is real.
But in total transparency every agenda left or right gets pushed when a time is right. Did you come out firing in the same way when Bush was looking for so called WMDs?
It’s ok to point out things but just do it on both sides man. Be transparent
