Are there more hurricanes now than 50 years ago?

No. And a search for answers about climate and hurricane connections reveals little or no evidence that major landfalling hurricanes in the Eastern United States have increased in frequency since data collection started around 1850.

Agriculture cannot survive at 48C + air temperatures and ongoing severe droughts for very long.

    The bread baskets of
India have been hitting these temps for nearly 40 days straight.

    There is no
    civilization without Agriculture.

    In short .... we're COOKED!

Slew - cleaning the air has ZERO to do with sun rays. We have an OZONE layer that protects us from harmful UV radiation. Clean air, is clean air and would lead to healthier people. Unfortunately, we've polluted the air and it has direct effect on health. Just by living close to a highway put you at a higher health risk. This is not some new revelation. Living near toxic waste sites, high emission coal, gas plants, etc., is just not good for your health.

Small group of Editorial Australians.. You can believe whoever you want so long as it fits your narrative.

    AAP FactCheck Organisational Structure

Australian Associated Press Ltd is an independent not-for-profit organisation established in 2020 to advance tolerance and understanding by protecting independent, ethical and sustainable news gathering and reporting in Australia. The organisation acquired the former Australian Associated Press Pty Ltd Newswire and FactCheck businesses on August 4, 2020. Australian Associated Press Ltd continues the 85 year legacy of the original Australian Associated Press Pty Ltd and provides media companies and corporations with news and information of public interest.
As a not-for-profit entity, Australian Associated Press Ltd has no owners or shareholders. It is constituted by a small group of members who have no ownership rights over the organisation. The organisation is governed by a board of elected directors.
AAP derives income from subscriptions to its news, image and information services. AAP is an independent and non-partisan organisation. AAP accepts philanthropic donations and funding to support the losses of its operations. Donors and funders neither seek nor are granted any influence over editorial operations or the governance of the organisation.
AAP FactCheck is funded by income earned through fact-checking and the provision of related services, such as training and media literacy campaigns.
One-off seed funding to establish AAP FactCheck was contributed by Google News Initiative. Google has since supported AAP FactCheck to undertake limited-term projects designed to support democracy and Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Communities. Meta support allowed AAP FactCheck to run several media literacy educational campaigns, while TikTok provided one-off funding for a short media literacy training initiative. ACF support enabled increased environmental fact-checking for a limited time in early 2022.
It is a strict condition of all projects and partnerships that AAP FactCheck retain full editorial independence.

    THIS IS NOT NORMAL

Deadly heatwaves are sweeping four continents as the northern hemisphere marks the first day of summer, with climate change-fuelled extreme conditions leaving potentially thousands dead.

At least 530 Egyptians have died while undertaking the hajj in Mecca, which has sweltered in conditions above 51C (Reuters).

In India, there were more than 40,000 suspected heat stroke cases and at least 110 confirmed deaths due to high temperatures between March 1 and June 18, when north-west and eastern India recorded twice the usual number of heatwave days.

New Delhi has clocked 38 consecutive days with maximum temperatures at or above 40C.

Countries around the Mediterranean have also endured blistering high temperatures leading to the deaths of tourists and contributing to forest fires in Portugal, Greece and Algeria.

Belgrade's emergency service said its doctors intervened 109 times overnight to treat people with heart and chronic health conditions, while in Serbia, meteorologists forecast temperatures of around 40C.

Parts of the US Northeast and Midwest are also wilting under a heat dome, with more than 86m people under a heat alert, while deadly fires are raging in New Mexico.

Well, anytime you want an explanation, will gladly rewrite so everyone understands.

Climate change, OUR future, not a concern in magaaaa's non policies/ deregulation of everything from child labor to

clean air, water and ground protections.

Confusion is costly, don't ever try to willingly commit this offense.

Sorry for my sometimes too "deep" thinking posts, try to stay closer to the "shallow end" for all my friends that I have

    great respect for.

    I don't ever mind blowing magaaaaa's mind .

Confusion has its costs, I don't ever want to be nor am trying to be a willing contributor.
