I was stationed at Wright Patterson AFB. Dayton is rough. For some reason Dayton is a hub in heroin traffic too. I read a few years ago where some Mexican kid was paid like $7k to be a mule and had drugs in his ass. From what I can remember he got across around Tijuana and they drove him to Vegas because San Diego has much tighter security. Flew from Vegas to Indy and then on to Dayton. Got caught in Indy and spilled the beans on the operation.

Less than 50 dead per year your source says does it.

Here is another one counting more than 50 every month this year.

Given there has been more than 300 different mass shooting incidents already in 2022, I'm pretty sure I know which source sounds out of their freakin mind

well it depends on how you define mass shootings and i noticed you didnt bold the rampage part which i put in to specify i was talking about shootings with random targets and not gang/domestic violence. if you want to define mass shootings as 4 or more being shot then you can, but no one even died in over 40% of those shootings you listed. personally i think most ppl would define mass shootings as something like columbine where many die and not a gang shooting with 4 injured. from the wiki on mass shootings, your own country views it more like me.

"an Australian study from 2006 prescribed a minimum of five; and added a requirement that the victims actually died as opposed to being shot and injured but not necessarily killed"

the data from my graph defines mass shootings as:

A mass shooting is defined as four or more people shot and killed in one incident, excluding the perpetrator, at a public place, excluding gang-related killings.

regardless of how you define mass shootings, how many lives do you think the assault weapon ban will save? how many ppl do you think are even killed by assault weapons per year in america? over/under 200.

^^^ yeah it seems like we can probably find gun stats to support the opposite opinion on almost any metric.

Just define the terms to suit.

I'd guess that the truth (of what reasonable people would call a mass shooting incident) lies somewhere in the middle.

Great post. If this is the case... it shows great discipline. Funny... a lot of people need discipline in the USA. Everyone just allowed to walk around like wild monkeys.
