I didn't really have anything against Drew while he was here. He put in work on the contests and that seemed like his thing.
The revelation though that he is essentially at fault for the scamming here is where I think maybe people have the right to vent a bit. Drew might be a convenient fall guy. That could be a convenient excuse for SBR, but it sounds like some of the metrics by which Drew was measured encouraged him to maybe look the other way on questionable signups leading to the fiasco.

I’m going to try to be nice and give this jackoff the benefit of the doubt and assume he didn’t realise that it’s better to have quality posters who engage rather than sheer numbers. Just like I said when he told people we needed to post X amount of times a day. I responded that 1. No one needs to see posts saying “good luck”, “way to go” and direct copy and pastes from ESPN. Seriously our posters have a bit of a clue and if suddenly I were to spam the forum with trash - like he did in his last three desperate weeks here - then people would be wondering wtf was going on. As for the signups Lou and I developed a very good system that has worked for many years and then the likes of Annie and now Genie came onboard and between her and I we have it down pat. It’s not infallible but there’s a very high chance you’ll either not get let in or you’ll be found out very quickly. However we were told to relax all of that and basically just let everyone through for a chunk of time until my bitching became annoying enough for Lou to reverse that. Once the whole BTP fiasco happened it became apparent that he had zero idea about the importance of aiming for a fraud free environment which has been my baby for close to 10 years now. So yeah between that and his other bullshit I can’t say I’m the biggest fan.
BUT I was more than happy not to say a word and let him pretend on his idiotic Twitter that he chose to leave. Even after he was trying to use ghosts here to disparage Lou and SBR. But when I saw last night that spider - not me Cuse you disappointing brain dead croissant - had to delete three threads from Sir Dribble about Lou and one of them had my name in the title? Game on bitch. I undeleted this one and responded. I have outright refused to speak to this pig for over six months. Maybe a year now after he had a go at me for being at my kid’s school and was stupid enough to not realise I could forward the conversations word for word to higher ups. All of them. And let’s just say his supposed management style leaves a lot to be desired especially when comparing notes with how he spoke to other people. Let’s hope he uses this time to reflect and improve.
PS Drew - Make sure to always ask if your customers would like fries with their order. Just a friendly tip so you hopefully don’t get sacked from your next job!
