I'm in the best shape of my life and am now a part time model/nutritionist. I feel sorry for people who work 8 hours a day and don't know any better. When do you live? You drive in traffic at least an hour a day, spend an hour getting ready for work, and when do you live? Exercise? Go out in the sun? Listen to music, spend time with someone interesting or have a deep philosophical conversation...I'd rather make 12k a year (working 2 hours a day) and have freedom than 80k a year (8hours a day) and be able to have 2 days of freedom per week.

Americans are just addicted to stress, work, and caring what other people think, which is why most will never be happy.

Well I feel like an idiot for saying it, because the OP stretched it too far, he is sort of right. Just like everything else in life, its about balance. I know plenty of people who work for large corporations, and make good money, but enjoy working out or a round of golf in the morning, so instead of 9-5, there workday becomes 11 to 7, and they still get to do what they enjoy every single day.
