#110Gaucho....its all about the water brother
Some people I know that moved to florida to open an italian restaurant have ny tap water shipped to them for their pizza dough.
I use pillsbury rather than general mills all trumps. Water, olive oil, 8 oz salt, 6 oz sugar along with 2 to three ounces of yeast depending on time of year.Comment -

#124Try St. Charles, MO. That is my hometown. It is a nice place to raise a family. Safe, good schools, and plenty of work. It is cheap. A good sports town. People love pizza there. Most people are nice though.Comment -

#131Jelly fish are the worst.
i was once on a boat next to another group who i didnt know but they were anchored by the same sandbar i was at and the current and wind was really strong so the boats kept getting pushed closer to each other and they were swimming and this girl got stung by a jellyfish and then next thing i know they are all back on the boat and i hear a lady yell out "PISS ON IT!!!!" to this guy to piss on the person who got stung by a jellyfish and this dude whips out his dikk and starts pissin on the ladies leg ..it was a pretty redneck sceneComment -

#133Biased as I graduated from Univ of SC but Columbia SC is a solid choice if you got some authentic NY Italian food....We were definitely missing that even though the food scene is really good in other ways.....Think you could make a killing there if you have good food
Some people will knock it as there are some shady areas but it has some really nice parts for families as well
Cool college town with a ton of things going on, a ton of energy in the Fall especially with SEC football....an hour from Charleston for the beach (a great choice as well) and Charlotte for a bigger city, a few hours to Myrtle or Outer Banks and also close to the mountains of NC, SC, TN.....Driving distance to ATL and Northern Florida as well
It's the state capital but it's more of a college town feel.....It's definitely Southern but there's a decent amount of people from the Northeast (especially students) so it's not too crazy of a culture shock
Just a fun town with lots going on and pretty damn cheap cost of living....you could do much worseComment -

If you have kids that are not in college yet then OSU is a big plus. Very cheap compared to the rest of the country, ranked 15th in best value last year and has top-rated colleges at the University.
A big minus is Ohio is last place for water quality in the whole country. Better plan on buying a reverse osmosis filter.Comment -

#135I just moved east of orlando and love it. Beaches are 15 minutes away (or closer if you want them to be), nice community, you can live comfortably here on $100k annual but most make less than that in this area. You come down and open a pizza joint here and I will help you out from an investor standpoint if interested. If not - I will at least be a customer - wife and I try and frequent family run joints.Comment -

Plus - Northrop Grumman just relocated like 500 people from NY down to near where I live - maybe even more than that - so market demand would be there. Don't get me wrong - lots of NY joints down here already but don't think any of them are hurting and demand can only go upComment -
