Since most of the brilliant baseball minds are active here, I thought I would ask what Manster, KVB, DDD and my pal Nasher what y'all think of Boston's (MLB) chances tomorrow? They appear to have the better SP and the more dynamic offense and are +106ish.

I also kick ass in football (both college and pro) and NCAAM hoops...those are the only sports I bet in addition to MLB...Not sure if you had a chance to go back and look at my entire picks thread or not...but to answer your question, I normally do totals in MLB about 99% of the time...and the vast majority of those are overs...but at first glance, that Boston play don't seem too bad!...they have hit Syndergaard pretty good in the past and Wacha has been pitching very good of late so not a bad idea to wager the Red Sox at plus money!...I will definitely let you know about the total when I post the play in my thread if I'm doing any action!...

Be careful of the total, Halo's ain't hitting, Trout's in a deep slump, unless you think the Sox are good for six runs.
If you do bet the total. Angels Stadium is a launching pad, only Great American (Cincinnati) Coors, and Fenway (in that order) are more hitter friendly.
I put a little bit of weight on BvP stats, neither pitcher has much of a history against the opposing batters.
No help regarding that angle.
So, having said that, lean Sox, lean over.
Heritage has the best overnight baseball lines in the business.
Angels -116
Red Sox +112
Total 9 over -113
Total 9 under -103
I'm not a heavy hitter, I'm a 40-80-120 player.
I just hit the Sox +112 for 80 dollars on the overnight at Heritage.
Total is a tad confusing, I need ten runs to cash the over, I'm not toally convinced I'll get there.
Conversely, if I go under, i need eight or fewer to cash, I'm not sure if that's the way to go either.
Nine is a push.
I don't wager to break even, if you think the game goes to ten runs, you can bet the over 9.5 for +113
If you like the under, you can bet under 8.5 at +108

In the little bit of history of BvP, some of the Red Sox hitters have hit Snydergaard pretty well with some decent offensive numbers...they should be able to score at least 5-6 runs in this game...

True, and I did make note of the aforementioned numbers.
My rule of thumb, and it's just mine alone, I don't really consider BvP under 20 plate appearances as a large enough sample size for individuals, and 120 plate appearances as a team.
There are exceptions.
If batter A for instance has four homeruns lifetime vs. pitcher A in just eight plate appearances, well that I will take notice of.

Splits that defy math logic.
Not for nothing, I use Statcast for my ballpark factors, this isn't statcast, but it gives you a good idea.
