There is a lot fewer injuries in Union than League at least. Way less full on collisions due to the rucks and mawls. And if you are not in the scrum it's probably safer than soccer really. I'd prefer my kid to play Union than Gridiron personally. Safety wise.

Yeah the kids are great as are most of the families. There is camaraderie that you don't get with a lot of sports.

It's been fun although I don't think I was quite prepared for the level of violence. All good on the wing though 😂

They play union rules. He plays wing. All the kids they play against are huge pacific Islanders lol. He played for his high school team and then joined a club.

They're making a big push here to grow the sport ahead of the world cup

It's a good game for kids. Doesn't matter if you are big or small there is a spot for you and most players are involved all the time. Although I guess the wing probably least involved. They get to be the hero when it counts though

The oversize Islander kids are a bit of a "problem" in the juniors here too, but they are often slow and easier to take down they they look I think.

Always seems to be a good atmosphere around Rugby Union teams and supporters too.

I was BMR Brad and looked after that site for many years, before I decided to take the new owners contract and stay at SBR. That was never any sort of secret.

Not that long ago he was at Shari about me still running BMR and 4 or 5 different people have asked me if I am in some conspiracy to hide who owns what based on what he has said to them.

I don't know what he is thinking or why really. And don't care as I can see from his direct interactions with me about Betathejerk that he is a loon who makes stuff up.
