As barometric pressure changes, especially as it lowers, I run into swelling in places that push on nerves. You can visibly see some of it.
There really is nothing that can be done except to relax and wait it out. Sure, their drugs and pills, and especially heat, but that just helps on the relaxation front.
Still have to wait it out.
but I’ve been doing a lot of thinking last couple weeks and I have to say I really really really really really really really really really really really really hate kidney stones.
The brain is powerful, so I try not to think about it, but I can swear one of these times a kidney stone is gonna give me a heart attack.
when the weather gets bad . It's just not what you
think it is .
It's a conditioned response by your subconscious
brain to up the pain , 100% of every pain we feel
ANYWHERE on the body originates in the brain
Your brain can choose to turn pain on or turn
it off . It can choose to make you hurt without no
actual physical injury
Each time the weather gets had and you feel pain
tell yourself . It's been proven that weather or barometric
pressure does not cause pain . I am conditioned to
believe so , so my subconscious brain uses
self fulfilling beliefs otherwise known in brain
Neuroscience as Predictive Coding .
For real . Tell this to yourself for 6 months to
a year str8 each time it happens . Watch how much
the usual pain levels subside. It's a form of Neuroplastic
Pain .
I wish this were true.
But notice I didn’t say pain.
I said “wreaking havoc”.
I agree, pain pathways are interesting, and can be controlled mentally to a certain extent… Although I’ve never been able to wrap my head around major kidney stone pain, that’s just a whole nutha level.
But I said “wreaking havoc” as the barometric change actually causes physical changes. Those physical changes, like pressure on nerves, lead to problems.
But I hear you, pain is it’s own thing.
i’ve been getting really good at relaxation and meditation, I thought I was good, but I learned some things that took it to another level.

I'm sure it was scary but I thought it looked worth investigating why he would back up and then floor it like that at least.
Maybe there was a good reason for it even.
But the news story I read did not say that, just some elected official saying "nothing to see here".

Yeah, a crowd blocking a car should be immediate unlawful detainment, at the least.
Given the fact that nearly all the people appalled by the fact that some one might hit the gas a go in that situation are the people doing the blocking, and given the fact that the consequences are so dangerous or high, laws should be passed.
That should become a heavily penalized no-no. Pedestrians should not ALWAYS have the right of way.
But protests lead to conflict, so there's that. Have to consider the car that purposefully drives down a street of protesters to assert his right of way. Both sides can exploit the law in that respect.
I'm checking out for a few hours, at least, weather wreaking havoc on me.
Agreed. You have no idea as to what that could escalate into. The cops did the right thing. In fact, they could have easily backed up and ran them over again for all I care.
Perhaps those idiots will think twice next time they block any car.
Doubt Opti has ever been jumped before
Been jumped twice and could of died both times
