I know the first step is to buy a nice fishing boat and that requires quite a bit of cash flow...

but talk about one hell of a job if you could make a living at it...

The people who are winning tournaments account for less than .01% of the people who make money fishing.

I don't think it will lead to a prosperous life, but you can make a living if you got the boat and all that.

If you are doing it as a job, it won't be as relaxing as taking 4 12 packs out with a buddy, and having a good time out at sea.

Fuel is a huge cost. You will probably get a mile/gallon. Burn say 500 gallons on a 2-3 day trip. So that's like $2k right there
