Shari, no offense, but more violence is not the solution. Just because he has done a horrible and inhumane thing, does not mean we need to do the same to him if he is caught. He will be judged when he dies, it is our job to bring him to justice, and let the courts give him his penalty. I do not wish torture and pain among anyone, even though it's a natural instinct, revenge is not the answer. Catch him, and keep him in a life sentence, or if the courts believe the death penalty is needed, then it will be given. I hope they don't kill him, catching him alive will provide us with more information on the purpose behind this.

But I do not believe that he'll be judged when he dies despite growing up Catholic and attending schools of that religion throughout high school. Personally I believe what we experience on this planet is our one chance to dance, for better or worse. My point about him being tortured or what not was a reflection of how we treat people of other cultures who haven't been suspected or even worse proven to be guilty of anything, other than being born with a bit of a tan. What this kid and his brother has done (as well as anyone working with them) not only on the day of the marathon but with the events of last are not forgiveable. There is a massive difference between this domestic terrorism and someone who is merely suspected of it due to profiling but those of the latter group are treated worse. Again I will not pretend that I'm not consoled that these people weren't born in the US... for some reason that makes me feel a lot better... but I do not think they should be treated any differently to other suspected terrorists regardless of their skin colour and residency status. If anything I think they should get harsher treatment because they lived here for so long and were legal residents. Either treat everyone with respect and follow due process or no one. These fukkers actually murdered people while others are being held and tortured simply because of their skin colour or religion and yet we have no proof they've harmed a US soul. Yet we have proof these guys this week did. Not only at the marathon but last night. Terrorists are terrorists and I simply want them to be treated equally. I especially want us to focus on people who we know committed acts of terrorism - homegrown or international - instead of merely speculating

Via Reuters Boston Bureau: As the Massachusetts State Police said they were no longer looking for a green Honda Civic sedan, a Reuters reporter in a Cambridge backyard near the Tsarnaevs' apartment reported seeing police loading a Honda with a licence plate they'd taped over onto the back of a tow truck.

Soon after, the bomb squad arrived, and three people in white biohazard suits and heavy yellow boots emerged from the apartment.

As police were nearing the end of their search of the cordoned off area, a law enforcement official involved in the investigation said, "They must be coming near to an end." The official asked not to be named because he was not authorized to talk to the media. The effort involved "hundreds and hundreds of officers," he said, and after searching homes in the cordoned off area, they are leaving an officer behind to ensure that searched homes remain secure.
