#4It's gone man. Until this shit gets fixed a high interest savings account is bullshit.
I used to be able to get 5-7% by putting it in simple money market accounts. Same account will be lucky to see 1%.
The difference between high interest and you mattress is about a few cents to dollars every month.Comment -

#5There's no such thing as a "high interest savings account" right now. Obama has made sure of that.
Keep it under your mattress until 2016. Hopefully things improve.Comment -

#19I had ING for a while but the interest was dropping monthly until it was under .9% and it wasn't worth it anymore. I'd be ok with even 1.75, but even that isn't common anymore.Comment -

#20This ^^^ if you don't have at least six figures to stash. You can find 5% offshore, so I hear, but offshore banks require lots of money/paperwork. Btw, even if the interest is accrued offshore, you still must report it on your taxes...Comment -

#24ING was about 5% in 2007 but it is slightly less than 1% now.
Opie said it was Obama's fault.
Of course he also said the the D.C. murder rate was far worse than Dallas.
Oh well.Comment -

your schtick is tired like your ugly girlfriend.
if you have access indirectly or directly to a couple grand like you claim -- you should be able to scrounge up $50
if not f\*\*k YOURSELF
I recommend you pay up soon and don't start a thread seeking investment advice anymore.
I know you think it's funny and you are probably proto star troll status but it's STILL not funny.
Pay your debt BlTCH BOY.
