Just ignore USCPhilly, joker is just jelly he is not able to make it, so he has to throw rocks at everyone else.

If my wife and I weren't already going to Vegas for the week of July 4th for the UFC fights, I would be game. I'll have to see if I can get a pass to go solo and let the misses deal with the kids.

FYI- The aria always has a full poker game, with some pretty high limits as well.

Donk....not sure what you are wanting to play, but the only $1500 events during this time are a Omaha event and a 7 card stud hi-lo event. There is a $1000 No Limit Event on the 19th (3 day event).

i wish the trip was a week later because the 25th is the Monster Stack $1500 tourney (5 day event).

I'm not sure what I'll be playing....may just hit a good tourney somewhere else in town (or stick to cash games).

Stayed at the Nobu Hotel inside Ceasar's last week. Nice place, about $200.00 night. Not too bad.

    Good group of fellas there!

Don't have much lust for poker these days but might join if the stars align. Need more sports bettors in this group so I don't have to just sit there and be a railbird.

Beerdogg if I go I'll stake you for all of your sportsbetting just pick em blind like you did B2P or whatever that was where you dominated.

I probably won't be playing any wsop bracelet events, will probably do one of the daily deep stacks there and then a tournament or 2 somewhere else in town as well.

oh please, we will see you there! I doubt anyone plans on being on the tables 24/7...at least one of the days I probably won't be playing any poker and just relaxing/betting sports/getting drunk and high/chilling by pool/machines and table games.

I'm in same boat as far as poker but if someone is willing to spray board in the book and maybe splash in a few donkey games (blackjack, roulette, maybe even a slot machine) then Id be interested.

    DownS:

Would be cool to enter one of the WSOP events. I could pony up $1000 entry.

    Only thing I don't like is full-ring. I much prefer 6max.

looks like i'll let a g fly on the 19th.... probably be done by that afternoon....

like jake, I'll probably play one of the daily/nightly megasatellites running alongside the bracelet events......

last time i played the one that starts around noon, like a $235 buyin, i played six hours next to darvin moon.... funny to see him at such a trny after he'd run so deep in the main the year before..... surreal..... bluffed him off several pots

for you cash game players, I highly recommend the cash games at the rio, also being run along side the trnies.....

most are filled with loose as shit euros and tilting dickweeds having busted out of trnies.... play TAG and you will get paid....

ya those are great tournies and are over in a day.

Now that it looks like a big group will be going, I'm not sure I want to be stuck at a table for days. I want to play a couple of tournaments but also hang out and enjoy myself with the crew.

I guess I'll just play things by year..everyone will probably have their own playbook planned as far as what they want to do and how they want to spend their time.

For 5-10 cash and under Donker is right on with the Rio. If you're a badass jackpot hitting mother fkr and want to play with the rich fish Aria is the spot. Any poker game in between the two will also be good hunting for the more touristy guys taking a shot before bed at their home hotel.

    God bless the WSOP

I'm down for a bit of donkin around as well as cash games and the odd tourney...also down for coordinating a pool day if we've got enough interest.

Jake & I played BJ at the Plaza last year & it was remodeled & drink girl was prompt!

Jake's bang on when it comes to the vibe DT.

so much better than the strip.

Chucky owes me a stack of steak coupons & a $25 freeplay at "The D" so, I might have to come & collect in June!

Wife will be involved.( at least for the first 4 days) Nice to see there are other spouses going.

I dont mean that in a weird creepy Donker type way

glad you added that caveat at the end, jay, as -- after listening to JJ's recorded message to me in the slots video thread -- I was in pure lifestyle/swinger mode, and was about to asks for pics of her.....

Looking like a good turn out. I hope I can make this happen.

My plan would be to come out Sunday and leave either Wed/Thur.

I am getting to be very likely on this. Trying to work out details with my wife. I know my wife will want roulette, pool and show times so I will be playing poker as much as I can afford but it will more be about having a bunch of drinks with a bunch of friends as opposed to hard core poker. I would love to play in a WSOP event but my bankroll is nowhere near big enough for this.

Looking forward to betting with the degens! :-)

    yep that was fun dude!

it's a personal preference but I like being able to bounce from casino to casino without having to drive. Good poker is lacking downtown but the Golden nugget and Binions are decent. I also like to play tables games and machines sometimes so downtown is good for that.
