this is pretty much the most skill based tournament you are ever gonna see. 25-30 hours of actual play in a 48 person tournament.

"Every bracelet event will have live final table coverage (hole cards only on WSOP ME final table in October)"
"According to Bart Hanson on LATB, ESPN has done away with live cards up streaming for the bigger events. This is of course a minor travesty. Last year's coverage was fascinating, giving a much deeper look into the game. It was a starting point, and I mistakenly was looking forward to improved coverage this year. Supposedly ESPN believes this was a failed experiment last year, and that live streaming coverage detracts from their packaged highlight shows. Guess could also be a financial decision by ESPN."Comment -

#213I love how the profession of everyone not from Asia is noted with some specificity - "Hedge fund manager," "Venture capitalist," "Professional poker player," etc., but the Asian businessmen are just "Asian businessman."Comment -

#229It really doesn't matter until the top 4 with this prize pool, then maybe they would want to chop. Still, I think they're all playing to win now.Comment -

#230everyone makes deals in poker. this is nothing new. hellmuth is the one who cares the most about actually winning the bracelet besides maybe guy. with that said, everyone is gona play to win no matter what deal is in place.Comment -

#232Yeah they obviously can't chop in a WSOP event, I will never chop in a tournament in my life unless I'm a very short stacked and for some reason the table wants to. I think the winner will take home for than 180K here.Comment -

So glad that Hellmuth is to the right of Antonio. Always good action and talk between those two, esp. when Antonio starts punishing Phil and the tears begin.Comment -
