    Question about SBR complaint resolution
How does SBR get these books that are stalling/not paying to pay up. I mean what tactics do they use, I don't get it. Threaten em with lowering their rating or posting a bad report? SBR seems very effective and to be in touch with the upper management of almost all the larger online books, when I had a prob with matchy I talked with them for a half hour and got no where (due to not being able to talk to anyone in management, just talking to the same dumb CS bitches), Willie B steps in and sorts the problem out in 5 secs. Is SBR just that highly regarded in the online gambling world that when they call the manager rushes to the phone and works out the problem, I'm really curious as to how a complaint gets sorted out so well by SBR yet they stall/could care less about their own customers that keep them in business.

    Bet,

A lot of times it is about communicating and simplifying the main issue. SBR has been handling complaints for over 8 years and we have a good feel for where compromises can be made and what the industry standard is. That also makes is easier for both sides to concede when they share some of the fault. A good book of mgt. contacts helps as well as some books wanting to avoid being the topic on SBR and the forum. Many do want to work on their rating.

Thanks Bill, I'm glad SBR is there and that they are able to help when an issue comes up.

Fortunately I was never a customer of Lazerwager's but is there anything that can be done for their customers to recoup their funds, isn't it illegal what they are doing, just closing the site and keeping all the money?

On the complicated disputes, the book really doesn't know what the right decision is. Many times, the book will do the right thing once we get involved and steer them. It's not coercive (except the extent that a negative rating hurts a book).

They settle with the book for half and keep 20% commission. Win win situation.
