y has nobody commented on this insane statement.... yes eventually streaks end but if your are betteng (this is a gambling website) id rather go with the trend and win 99% of the time than be the knuckle head saying streaks gonna end this game and lose 99% of the time.... obviously everything comes to an end but as a gambler the best you can do is try keep odds in your favor... but i do appreciate you pointing out this outstanding fact

You would think with all those stacked teams, Pitino would have more than just one championship.
            (The same as Izzo)

Sorry, but when I think of great coaches, the list starts with Wooden, then Knight, Coach K.... Dean Smith then you get to Jim Calhounn's of the world.

Pitino is in the Billy Donovan and Jim Boeheim tier.

Well Ohio State did beat cincy, which was expected, but I think they will beat Syracuse too.

that's a pretty silly statement. pure talk radio-style nonsense. those two conferences faced off in three games last night. you completely ignoring the other two?

with respect to Pitino, he deserves every bit of credit for UL's gameplan and win (which Izzo gave him credit for in interview this morning). this year's UL team started off rocky, but since the MLK Day debacle against Marquette, that team has really turned things around and Pitino deserves a ton of credit. i was bashing Pitino like crazy after the Marquette game, saying that the game had passed him by and he no longer had the fire in the belly. i was wrong.

There has been a lot of talk about the Big Ten being the best Conference and the Big East having a down year. Last night The Big East won 2 of 3, while beating the best team in the Big Ten. While I am pulling for Indiana, they are more than likely going down tonight. That leaves Ohio St who will need a lot of luck to beat Syracuse. The Big East is the dominate conference once again.
