My initial lean was to MSU, I like their size and versatility. And of course the coaching advantage. Now i don't know. Corbin always hits these isolated big plays.

Win or lose I agree with NC that the game will be won or lost based on how they fare on the boards. On paper this concerns me as well.

Why does it "make no sense"? MSU would always rather run. Izzo's been like that since the beginning of time. They have a reputation as a Big Ten team of half court sets and 56-52 slugfests, but they've always been at their best when they get up and down the court.

Neither is bluffing. Pitino wants to slow the game down and Izzo wants to speed it up.

I can see pressing the whole game - MSU hasn't been pressed @ all year so hard telling how they respond to that - they don't have the ball handlers like they did in 09 (not a MSU fan btw)

I don't remember many times in the past under Izzo that MSU has run and lost, but I could be mistaken.

I know this much: he's a better big-game coach than Pitino. I doubt you're going to "dupe" him.

A helter skelter game would play right into Louisville's hands.

You'd be foolish to bet against a hot team like the Cardinals right now. They will probably win this. Everyone is too busy sucking off Izzo. I love the guy too but people think he is a lock for another final four.

Why are the Cardinals "hot" and MSU isn't?

Pitino has been to one Final Four since returning to the college game at Louisville in 2005. MSU dominate a "better" Louisville team with a master gameplan in the regional final of 2009. I don't know if MSU is the play here or not, but Izzo gets "sucked off" because he's been to 10 Sweet 16's in 15 years and six Final Fours since 1999. The track record speaks for itself.
