#40One of my reasons is a slow paced game and 5 points is a lot in that type of game

#41My initial lean was to MSU, I like their size and versatility. And of course the coaching advantage. Now i don't know. Corbin always hits these isolated big plays.Comment -

#42Win or lose I agree with NC that the game will be won or lost based on how they fare on the boards. On paper this concerns me as well.Comment -

#44Pitino is 9-0 in sweet sixteen, average margin of victory of 22 points
add in revenge for 2009, and they are playing the best defense in the country the last 2 weeks. This is a no-brainerComment -

#46Scary bet. Louisville doesn't have the bodies underneath to contend with MSU, and we all know what kind of a big-game coach Pitino is vs. Izzo.
Coach is talking down Pitino in big games a few days ago, now he's laying 6 grand on him against a No. 1 seed. What gives? This isn't one of his better teams from a personnel standpoint. That would be the '09 squad, which was a No. 1 seed that got dismantled by MSU in the Elite Eight.
I can't believe I didn't see this thread until just now...

We have the best Pg in the matchup, and our big guys can ball....
Im so tired of hearing that we don't have talent... Behannon and Dieng are both NBA players... They are only Fresh and Soph and they are 4 year players...
Let's see them guard siva off the ball screen or score down low on Dieng (2nd best shot blocker in the nation, behind A DAvis)
Only way we lose is if Dieng get's in foul trouble early... This line is a flat out joke, it should be 2...
CAn't wait to get revenge on this squad, since they knocked us out against when we were #1 overall seed, were are the hottest team in the nation right now and playing the best defense...

#55is the Ville going to press the whole game? the Media in Lansing, atleast Izzo is expecting and has been talking all week about it. Thus, MSU is looking to play a fast tempo game, by breaking the press and scoring off of it - which may lead to the over being a decent play.........only ? is L'ville actually gonna press alot and make this a fast paced game?Comment -

#56I can't tell who's bluffing izzo or pitino...
When Izzo said he wants to run with us i almost fell outta my chair, it makes no sense....
I do expect louisville to press most of the game, but I wouldn't touch the over...Comment -

#61I don't remember many times in the past under Izzo that MSU has run and lost, but I could be mistaken.
I know this much: he's a better big-game coach than Pitino. I doubt you're going to "dupe" him.Comment -

You'd be foolish to bet against a hot team like the Cardinals right now. They will probably win this. Everyone is too busy sucking off Izzo. I love the guy too but people think he is a lock for another final four.Comment -

#68A helter skelter game would play right into Louisville's hands.

Pitino has been to one Final Four since returning to the college game at Louisville in 2005. MSU dominate a "better" Louisville team with a master gameplan in the regional final of 2009. I don't know if MSU is the play here or not, but Izzo gets "sucked off" because he's been to 10 Sweet 16's in 15 years and six Final Fours since 1999. The track record speaks for itself.Comment -
