    Can someone give me a good example of a decent Jay Z song?? Ive listened to many and i dont see what the hype is about. His rhymes are nothing short of 5th grade poetry, and not even intelligent. I mean its easy to create your own words when you cant think of anything to rhyme.
    Not saying he isnt worthy of all of his praise, just that I dont see it anywhere. I hope he at least does his own beats, cuz the rhymes arent cutting it for me.

    I'm no hip hop or rap expert, but I relate more to Eminem. Alternatively you should check out Atmosphere...There is a lot to weed through, but some of their lyrics and arrangements are balls out. Check out "pour me another" and "trying to find a balance".
