Also a recent eminem freestyle on shade45 he said something like "Kiss the manequin man again" WTF???????

Can someone give me a good example of a decent Jay Z song?? Ive listened to many and i dont see what the hype is about. His rhymes are nothing short of 5th grade poetry, and not even intelligent. I mean its easy to create your own words when you cant think of anything to rhyme.
Not saying he isnt worthy of all of his praise, just that I dont see it anywhere. I hope he at least does his own beats, cuz the rhymes arent cutting it for me.

Da Graveyard was the Jay Z track and also introduced Cam'ron on tht album, was pretty good.

I remember buying a Shyne album about 10 yrs ago or so, the one with Barrington Levy doing his Murderer thing. It didn't suck.

According to Rolling Stone magazine Shyne converted to Judaism and is living in Israel.

I'm no hip hop or rap expert, but I relate more to Eminem. Alternatively you should check out Atmosphere...There is a lot to weed through, but some of their lyrics and arrangements are balls out. Check out "pour me another" and "trying to find a balance".
