Auburn will be easier money than LSU

This is what I'm thinking. I made a mint on LSU, going to bet small on the NFL this weekend then let it ride on Monday.

You all may be right, I do not see it that way yet. Three schools in the SEC played what I would call SEC defense, Florida, Bama and LSU. I think Oregon scores on Auburn all day. Auburn had some moments defensively, certainly they played good defense for 35 minutes vs Bama, but I see Oregon winning this game right now.

    i think auburn is toast.
oregon is more of a team and has more talented playes instead of the most talented players. imo.
Auburn lovers, what about the line, just saying i am on auburn do you mean at any price?

People vastly underestimate how good Oregon is. Maybe they haven't seen many Duck games, or only saw the national game where they weren't dominate. I'm on Oregon +3, and while I wouldn't be shocked if Auburn covers, I will be surprised as heck if it is "easy money." If Auburn wins it will be in doubt late into the fourth quarter.

Auburn -3 is my biggest play of the year. I've been saying that since they won the Iron Bowl.

Their defense has played all season against the hurry up. Oregon hasn't seen a defense as good as Auburn's. They have no way to stop third and 5 or less. They have no answer for Nick Fairley, and they haven't seen a LB like Josh Bynes.

They've beaten 1 team in the top 25. Auburn is battle tested, they've faced more talented offenses. They've played in bigger games, and they have the best offensive line in the country.

Now add to that the SEC being 6-0 in BSC title games, and winning all by at least 7 with a few blow outs mixed in. The SEC wests top 5 have only 2 losses outside of SEC west play. Bama at South Carolina, and Arkansas vs. OSU. Think about that for a minute. Alabama, Arkansas, LSU, Miss St. and Auburn have only lost 2 games outside of playing each other.

Gotta play on the Tigers in this one.

Interesting but Pac 10 teams play Pac 10 teams. So their stats are based on playing other Pac 10 teams which for the most part suck. Only 4 including Oregon even made it to a bowl game. Really it should be 5 because USC would have played a bowl game. Oregon has played a total of 5 bowl teams including USC.

    Oregon
    Sat, Sep 4 New Mexico W 72-0 -- 1-11
Sat, Sep 11 at Tennessee W 48-13 -- 6-7 lost to UNC 30-27 in bowl game
    Sat, Sep 18 Portland State W 69-0 -- 2-9
    Sat, Sep 25 at Arizona State W 42-31 -- 6-6
    Sat, Oct 2 (9) Stanford W 52-31 -- 12-1 beat Virginia Tech 40-12 in bowl game
    Sat, Oct 9 at Washington St W 43-23 -- 2-10
    Thu, Oct 21 UCLA W 60-13 -- 4-8
    Sat, Oct 30 at (24) USC W 53-32 -- 8-5 barred from post season for 2 years
    Sat, Nov 6 Washington W 53-16 -- 7-6 beat Nebraska 19-7 bowl game
    Sat, Nov 13 at California W 15-13 -- 5-7
    Fri, Nov 26 (20) Arizona W 48-29 -- 7-6 lost to Oklahoma State 10-36 bowl game
    Sat, Dec 4 at Oregon State W 37-20 -- 5-7

    Auburn
    Sat, Sep 4 Arkansas State W 52-26 -- 4-8
Thu, Sep 9 at Mississippi St W 17-14 -- 9-4 beat Michigan 52-14 bowl game
Sat, Sep 18 Clemson W 27-24 -- 6-7 lost to South Florida 26-31 bowl game
    Sat, Sep 25 (12) S.Carolin W 35-27 -- 9-5 lost to Florida State 17-26 bowl game
    Sat, Oct 2 Louisiana-Monroe W 52-3 -- 5-7
Sat, Oct 9 at Kentucky W 37-34 -- 6-7 lost to Pittsburgh 10-27 bowl game
    Sat, Oct 16 (12) Arkansas W 65-43 -- 10-3 lost to Ohio State 26-31 bowl game
    Sat, Oct 23 (6) LSU W 24-17 -- 11-2 beat Texas A&M 41-24 bowl game
    Sat, Oct 30 at Mississippi W 51-31 -- 4-8
    Sat, Nov 6 Chattanooga W 62-24 -- 6-5
Sat, Nov 13 Georgia W 49-31 -- 6-7 lost to Central Florida 6-10 bowl game
    Fri, Nov 26 at (9) Alabama W 28-27 -- 10-3 beat Michigan State 49-7 bowl game
    Sat, Dec 4 (18) S. Carolina W 56-17 -- see above

Auburn has played 9 bowl teams if you count South Carolina twice. Every year you hear this is the year the SEC is going to lose because of this or that and every year they beat and cover on their opponent. The SEC has covered the last 4 years, they might be due not to cover this year.

I do agree if Oregon figures out a way to stop Cam Newton unlike the way they stopped Terrelle Pryor last year they will win. Cam is the key to the offense. He opens the doors for all the other offensive players on Auburn. If Cam goes down like McCoy went down, Auburn will lose.

Oregon is stoppable. Cal slowed them down.

Another negative is the Heisman Jinx. Ingram broke it. Can Cam do the same?

I think the line is good at 3, and I think Oregon has a punchers chance. If it is a shootout then its last team who scores.

Yup, they have not faced a defense like Auburn all year. Not even close. I wouldn't be surprised if the Tigers won by two touchdowns.

the pressure of winning to avoid the SEC going 4-6 in bowls will be too much for them.... Oregon wins this one for the "little guys" ( all non-sec teams).

auburn is a 10-3 team. newton is a distraction, he wont be rushing by more than 50 yards (inside info), he better be tom friggin brady in the pocket cause the dux are gonna make him hit medium pass after medium pass. he wont get outside, and he will probably fumble a few times as well. as far as the dux u can count on 34 points no matter what the auburn d does

    Duckies 41
