I'm sure that someone can dig up data to support one scenario or another being most likely, but for me I don't sit and play one way or another on the total when playing a run line. To begin with, I break totals down by the sums, not just lump all Overs and all Unders into two nice, convenient compartments. I've been playing certain run lines lately on home teams that fit particular price spans, and have been showing a profit. And at the same time, LT came up with another angle that was well off mine and it was profitable. It ain't one size fits all.
