My pro status ran out over the weekend. All offshore money I have is tied up in Heritage (where I am a proud member). Honestly, I am struggling to see the benefits of renewing as a US based player. The SB cash and free plays are gone. BTP is a season long award only now. Convince me as a 3yr SBR member that renewing is worth it.

Let's say I went pro on Diamond, and I've been on 5dimes ever since. I can't go pro unless it is with my diamond account or I make a first time deposit into 5dimes?

You have to re-deposit in your Diamond account, or create a new account with a sponsored book. I am currently playing at 5Dimes, and had to re-up with DSI for the Pro renewal.

John if you guys found a way to let members have book free cash once again then your renewal rate will be higher I think. You got some members pretty mad that they cannot get free money from the books now. You guys ought to reconsider and find a way on this. I do think have some prepaid cards that in the store that are affordable would be an option also and cut a deal with some of sponsors to where they get a hefty bonus for using that card also.

i checked my pts log, 10/25/2010 was the last day i received 6 pts for 1st post and log-in, then on 10/26/2010 i received 8 & 4 respectively.

It's not rocket science....You need to get with some of these books and figure out which pre-paid **** or ** they can take for reloading....and offer them in the store....I remember when they took away the sportsbook freeplays and cash...JJ and Shari was saying they don't need the USA posters for this site to survive...while that may be true...surviving is what you would be doing...too make any money though...you need the USA posters...

if ur gonna stick with just 1 offshore out then its probably not worth it to renew unless things change. if your gonna up somewhere to have another out its probably worth it. you are betting/posting anyway

Good post.If SBR is dillusional enough to think that non US posters are going to keep filling the coffers,good luck.I'd say US posters are probably feeding sponsor books 40 to 50 times what non US posters are funding.JJ and Shari are paid to say what's kosher,I pay more attention to the non employees.
